AZUREBEAUTY Dip Powder Nail Nude Set 6 Colors

This is NOT a dip powder formula- it is so fine that when you dip and try to brush the excess off, it all goes airborne like dust and floats in the air instead of dropping down onto the table. Everything in a 3 foot radius gets glittered by the end of the session, and you can't help but breathe in the dust, which I'm very concerned about. Also, because it is such a thin powder, the coats on your nails when dipping are crazy thin and brittle, so even after 8 coats, it will break off and chip badly. I believe this is supposed to be used with the acrylic bead/monomer liquid on the brush, NOT as a dip.

I was going to the salon and spending a ton of money. I was trying to figure into how to save time and money. I figured it out! Do my own nails at home. Learning the right amount of dip takes a bit of practice. Once I practiced (about three manicures) I got the process down. Love this brand for dip nails! Covers very well. Three dips each finger for deep coverage. Stays on well. Does not chip with three dips. Have to have base coat, activator, and top coat (sold separately). This pack of 6 colors you can mix and match for a complimentary manicure. All of the colors pair well together if you want some “fun” nails and multiple colors on each finger.

I am overall extremely impressed with this powder. The colors, the application, the finish, etc. my only complaint is that it's such a fine powder that it kind of clumps together and it's almost impossible to use as a tip powder. It's very difficult to get an accurate French tip line. But it works great for an all over application. Also the shimmer dip colors in this nude kit were very translucent so not quite what I expected.

This was my first time doing my own dip nails and I will continue to do so. It's very easy. However, I swapped the Azure Beauty liquids for the Nailboo liquid set that I had bought from Walmart. I tried a couple nails with the Azure beauty liquids and I was not pleased with the time to dry/set or easy of application (no problems with the smell though). A second coat of #2 liquid would change the color and texture of the dip on the nail to another shade and make it sticky and gloopy. The dry time is slow. I started again, this time using the Nailboo liquids with the Azure Beauty dip colors. That made a huge difference! Two weeks in, my nails have grown out, and only one nail has lifted (see pic). I will likely remove and do a new set.

Colors are a bit misleading, no fault of the seller/photos. Just something to think about. The color photos are on a solid WHITE background. Against my fair olive toned skin, the darkest in this photo is what I'd call 'nude' to my skin, with the 3 coats max recommended. The rest are barely a color at all. The glitter are straight up glitter. Feel like for the purchase, I only actually got one color and a lot of glitter I could add on top of it. For the small size of the vials I feel like they'll last a long time.
