Like all things now this has clearly been made to a budget which means the components will just about do what is required, but that’s pretty much everything you buy so I can’t mark it down for that, just know you will need to treat it carefully to avoid any small plastic pieces snapping off which could easily happen. It’s certainly not a climbing frame for a 2-year old! That aside the design is very clever and works well. The additional cover is essential to hold in the heat and I think should have been included with the package, from reading other reviews it seems that it doesn’t dry half as well without it. Now it’s winter when outside drying is impossible this allows a whole load of clothes to be dried in one place, you set it up and forget it, If you used it during the day you could make use of the residual heat to warm the room in your house which makes the energy usage a little more efficient if you don’t put your heating on just bear mind that it would only take the edge off in one room and over a few hours so it’s not going to be the same but it is noticeable after a while. All in all a decent product that fulfils its promise currently after two months use, let’s see if it lasts.

Excellent answer to drying laundry. I read a lot of reviews, after my cousin recommended this as an alternative to running the tumble drier every few days. This is a good, but basic model - there's an on/off switch but no timer or auto=off as on some other heated air dryers. I picked this one because (cousin again) it's a trusted brand, and for my small household being able to use it half folded is a bonus. Was slightly misled by the pictures showing it fitted understairs - well, my stairs aren't that high & it's taller than I expected, but it does fold very flat to slide beside a cupboard. I'm lucky in that I have a covered area where I can hang laundry, so after a day of air-drying I can transfer to the DrySoon and it finishes off in a few hours, depending on the material. It's not going to cope with sopping wet material - you need to spin dry, or in the case of delicates do the towel roll thing. Cottons and wools take longer than my uniform synthetics, and you do need to keep an eye on it and turn clothes occasionally to make sure they dry evenly. Overall very happy, and a major improvement on hanging stuff on the radiators! Oh, by the way, I don't think the official cover is necessary, I just chucked an old double sheet over the top and that increased the drying performance very nicely.

A very nice product, easy to use and feels reasonable quality, others are cheaper but time will tell if buying branded lasts longer, pity cover is seperate purchase especially as what this costs, would be nice if a cover of some description was included, works well, good size and multiple layouts for drying possible. Looks ok as far as a drier goes but its a dryer not a pice of sculture.

My best buy ever. Drys my clothes overnight. I bought the cover as it dries clothes better with it on. Wish i had bought one before.

Honestly wanted one of these for ages and I'm so glad I bought it. We do not have space for a tumble dryer (and they so expensive anyway) so I thought this was a great, cost-effective option. I bought it in the sale which was helpful and it came super quickly. It has been really useful at drying clothes etc quickly. There is a cover you can buy for it, however reviews said don't bother wasting your money. As an alternative, if I've been washing sheets or towels, I have used them over the top of the dryer to keep more heat in and it works really well. This is easy to fold down and hide behind a door for storage. Would thoroughly recommend getting one if you need to be able to dry clothes without the use of the sun in summer, or a tumble dryer. This was perfect for the autumn/winter months! I also purchased an attachment from lakeland which was the netting with pegs, and I hand this on the top layer of the dryer and it's super useful for socks etc. Another thing I would recommend buying if you buy the dryer!

Amazing piece of equipment. Needed a cheaper and better alternative than the dual washer tumble dryer and this is definitely it. Much cheaper and heats the room up in the winter when drying. Make sure you buy the drysoon cover as well as it works very well and dries the clothes much quicker than without. Easy to put together and doesn't take up much space.

I can’t give this 5* due to it being faulty but things like this do happen. but as for quality size and usability i would recommend and so easy to store and erect when needed

I’m so pleased I finally got this heated clothes airer. It’s brilliant for drying jumpers and other items that can’t be dried in the tumble dryer. Even without the cover (purchased separately) clothes are dry in a day. I find it best to turn items over once after a few hours. It’s lightweight and folds away when not in use. It doesn’t seem to have had any impact on the electric bill. I’m really happy with this product.
