Lovely bowls; I bought these to replace some bamboo ones which were showing some signs of wear. My 22 month old really seems to like them. The silicon sleeves come off easily enough for washing (they definitely need to be removed as lots of water ends up inside & would cause mould if not dried properly) & go back on easily too. Great that they’re ok in the dishwasher & the microwave too. They do hold heat more than the bamboo ones did which I guess is good but worth being aware of to avoid serving food when it’s still too hot. They’re a good size for a toddler I think. Overall, a fantastic purchase & I wouldn’t hesitate to buy more of these if/when needed.

We love them and my kids love them.They have a few imperfections in places but doesn't effect use, was just a little dissatisfied due to the cost but I'll still give 5 stars!They have been thrown on the floor by my one year old and survived!They are quite wide brimmed which is perfect for food, but they don't fit in the dishwasher particularly well.

Really good quality, perfect for toddlers, love the colours, easy to clean. It's nice to have childrens bowls that aren't plastic or silicone.Would highly recommend

Brilliant bowls. Bought them for my 18 months and 6 years old kids. Initially bought the one with suction but the suction was annoying as way too strong (almost broke the microwave glass plate lifting everything) also they said you don’t have to remove the sleeve to wash but we had some nasty surprise not removing the sleeve so I always separate them so they also fully dry.Pictures of the stainless steel, the porcelain and the one with suction (that we returned) we kept the 2 others

These are great!Perfect size and gives you peace of mind that they are not plastic. My daughter loves choosing a different colour sleeve each time.We have accidentally broken a few so be warned they often don’t survive toddlers throwing them on the floor. But I always come back and purchase the same ones as they are the best I’ve found.

Yes, Elk and Friends porcelain bowls are on the pricier side, but they are absolutely worth it especially if you’re trying to move away from plastic for your kids.These bowls are beautifully made and feel incredibly solid and durable. They’ve held up so well through daily use, toddler tosses, and many dishwasher runs. I love that I can serve warm meals in them without worrying about plastic leaching or staining.They’re the perfect size for little ones, and the silicone sleeves add a great layer of protection and grip. It’s such a relief to know my kids are eating out of something safe and high quality.

I got the non-suction ceramic kind for my newly turned 3yo, and I wish I had gotten them a year ago. It's highly recommended for littles who don't purposely turn dishes upside down anymore, but need a little bit of stability (I.e. keeps the bowl steady in one place on the table). I wanted something not silicone, but microwave safe and dishwasher safe, and also a bigger bowl than most toddler bowls out there -- this ticks all of the boxes. This is a generous 18oz size that we will be able to use for a long time, the silicone sleeve slips on and off easily, it's the perfect depth and roundness for easy self feeding. It doesn't smell like our old 100% silicone bowls (which they eventually do due to deterioration) so I'm happy about the ceramic part. I couldn't ask for a better kids' bowl. He can feed himself oatmeal, pasta, rice, soup very easily with this bowl. If there's any improvements that can be made it's better stackability (these stack but take up a lot of room) and spill proof lids, for easy storage in the fridge. I'm more than willing to overlook the cons because these are just so great in every other way. Like I said in the beginning, I wish I had gotten these a year ago!

This brands and plates are phenomenal. I couldn't imagine feeding my baby with something other than porcelain. The food doesn't end up stinking with plastic like with everything else. The sleeves do a great job keeping the dish from breaking. The colors of sleeves are all beautiful too. Will continue to come back to this brand again and again. Couldn't recommend this enough.
