Earthquake EXT12 12-Inch Earth Auger

Heavy unit. Works just fine

I got this extension to be able to drill down about 3 full feet below grade with my Earthquake auger. This extension is a good complement to allow you to reach deeper and obtain the depth that you need. The extension is well made from a quality steel and is painted the same color red as the auger frame.

Sturdy product. Does exactly what it is intended to do. They decided to sendthe extension with the nut and bolt inside the receiving hole of the extension is unfortunate. Since the nut and bolt were not together they wedge themselves together making it extremely difficult to get out. Spent 30 mins banging against my new extension because I couldn't use it without the nut and bolt. The company should out the nut and bolt together if they are going to ship it in this manner.

Perfect length I needed to auger a deeper hole.

I have a Predator tm. brand power auger from HF that came with a six inch bit & this extension fits both perfectly. Our soil on the peninsula is very sandy it’s ideal for digging so I really can’t speak to how this would hold up under harsh conditions but it works absolutely fine for me. I’m not associated with this or any product. I received nothing for my review. I recommend this product.

We bought with the auger because my husband is tall and needs the extra length and we were going deeper in the ground. It was study and strong so worked great

Comes well packaged, includes bolt and nut as well as plastic tube container if you want to store the extension. Fits Powermate auger without issue. Great addition to get an additional foot down for post holes below frost line.

Quality Precision Use it for auger extension. I have the 18 inch version so I know that it will work. It makes a two man auger out of a one man auger.
