There's an olive oil grower, USA, that makes an American Blend. In fine print it discloses 50% California grown, and 50% Brazilian & Peru. It is an American blend.... from North AND South America. The same with this honey company's description... it is made by American bees... South American. Marketing keeps us on our toes. ;-) **Q: Is this honey pasteurized?** A: Not sure but it is definitely filtered. Unfiltered honey has pollen and bits of propolis visibly in it and is thick, not liquidy like this. The bits are very good for you and those with allergies but some don't like it. I feel the thick honey is more authentic like bee and flower or wee bee honey. This company is also not eco friendly using plastic when nearly all good brands use glass **Q: Is this made in the USA from USA bees?** A: In fine print under the back label, it says product of USA and Brazil.
