A Life - Changing Kitchen Companion!
My husband gifted me the Upliance AI cooking device in 2024, and it has honestly been one of the best gifts I’ve ever received. It has completely transformed the way I cook. Cooking with Upliance is incredibly hassle-free. The step-by-step guidance makes preparing meals so easy, and I no longer have to worry about constantly monitoring the food. The recipes turn out consistently delicious, and the entire cooking experience is enjoyable rather than stressful. Whether it’s a quick weekday meal or something special for guests, Upliance has made cooking effortless and fun. It has saved me so much time and made me much more confident in the kitchen. If you’re looking for a smart cooking appliance that genuinely makes life easier, I highly recommend Upliance. It’s one of the best investments for any home and something I use almost every day. I absolutely love it!

So far, SO worth it
I have had the upliance for a little over three months now and I usually use it for 4 meals during the week on average (I eat the same thing for lunch and dinner). On the weekends I sometimes use it upto 4 times a day. I made a list of pros and cons. Here's what the upliance does really well : - Curates available recipes based on dietary preferences. I'm lactose intolerant, and it filtered out all the dairy based recipes very well in my opinion. That said, going dairy-free meant my options were limited but it performed very well all the same - Provide exact, easy to reproduce recipes producing consistently good taste with simple ingredients. Simple recipes like the masoor dal khichdi, bisibele baath, tomato baath, pav bhaji and more come out absolutely perfectly and taste incredibly good. - Precision in amount of ingredients required for a given number of portions. I have started actually clearing out stuff in pantry before I shop for more. Less wastage, less purchases, honestly with the taste and quality and reliability of output. - Saves me SO much time and decision making. Unlike a lot of the other reviewers here, I'm don't have say a family of four to cook for. However, as a highly sociable lover of board games, good company and good food, I do have people over A LOT. It's hard to quantify how helpful it is to have a third (in addition to a two burner gas stove) space to cook food that comes out consistently well without the need for too much supervision. I can steam the mains (rice/quinoa/idli) in the upliance while I boil dal and steam vegetables for sambar/dal in the pressure cooker, fry protein options in the cast iron, and then let the upliance handle a gravy while I set up the appetisers and blend juice/sorbet. Gravy starts to cook as people come in and is hot and ready in time for main course. I've even tried out new recipes for the first time when I've hosted people over - a simple masala khichdi - but that's how confident I am in how well they'll turn out (provided there are ZERO steps requiring me to do something on my own, I find these external diy steps to be very vague). Did I mention it can wash itself too? - Ability to plan future meals with the planner AND save money on groceries - I am very very happy with how much money I've been saving and honestly how content I feel with healthy, homecooked food. I find that I not only spend less on eating out, I also host people over at home more often, which makes me happy, and am a much more conscious consumer in general. Given that this is an expensive device, I consider it an investment.. but I want to mention I genuinely.. feel happier since I got this device. How do I put a price on that? I'd be very happy if the upliance could output a week's grocery list based on the meals I put into the planner but it's pretty great as it is as well since I can see how much of each ingredient I'm likely to need. - Availability of spares. I think there should also be an option to replace the lenovo tablet. Given the superior quality of the product itself, looks like this the component most likely to need a replacement. What the upliance could do better : - Add more options for vegetarians like several of my friends. Bonus points if they're South Indian and vegetarian AND dairy free. (Here I'd like to give a shoutout to the veg kerala stew, I have tears in my eyes when I think of how I can make perfect stew in parallel with appams now - really, thank you). Also while it cooks quinoa and steams white rice perfectly, brown rice is always an issue - it's always slightly undercooked, even when it's been soaked for half a day. Worth a re-check, I think. - Improve the AI assistant. It's just really bad. - Fix the bugs on the mobile and tablet app related to the search functionality. Also, why is there no voice search? - Explain how the charging system works, why not just show a battery indicator at the top left, why is it not an intuitive interface? I also don't understand the logic in repeatedly attempting to restart and shutting down until it actually has enough power to function. - The edit and change ingredients options are not super intuitive. Neither are the take charge of heat and blending options. Also, I'm sure there's a max spin speed option that is not accessible through this manual mode menu. It's even used in the wash cycle! So why not make that option available? Wouldn't this simplify a lot of my blending activity? - I would really like the option to upgrade to a glass or stainless steel lid if possible to reduce the involvement of plastic in my cooking process, for obvious health reasons. Would be great if this could be made available as a premium spare option.

You will regret it
This product is definitely not suited if you are thinking about cooking for 3-4 people. The max temp of the jar reaches till 100-105 degree, which is not adequate for cooking for 3-4 people. Most of the dishes specially sabzi will turn out watery or else the blades will make keema of soft vegetables like cauliflower. Cooking meat dishes in this is a health hazard as the cooking temp inside meat ( I tried checked) does not reach what is required. I checked with food thermometer multiple times. This can not replace your traditional appliances atleast for now. Most thinks will turn out uncooked watery or soggy, also it is not very convenient as the jar does not have the handle and while washing, you will feel the need. Yes it has rinse function but that does not do the full job and you will see lot of charring. If you are purchasing it, please don't keep your expectations high. For me it was not worth it.

An Absolute Game-Changer for Busy Households – Smart, Efficient, and Truly Indian!
I have been using the Upliance 1.0 Smart Cooking Assistant for a year now, and it has completely transformed my daily cooking routine. If you are skeptical about whether a automated multicooker can handle authentic Indian cooking, this machine will absolutely change your mind. What I Absolutely Love: Built for Indian Kitchens: The HeatCore Tech is the real deal. It handles everything from proper bhuna for gravies to perfectly sautéing onions and spices without burning them. The Omni-blade is a Powerhouse: This single blade eliminates the need for separate chopping, grinding, and stirring. It handles tough chopping and continuous stirring effortlessly, which is a lifesaver for dishes like halwa or slow-cooked dals. Massive Recipe Library: The 8-inch touchscreen is bright, highly responsive, and packed with over 750 guided recipes. The step-by-step instructions make it so simple that even someone with zero cooking experience can replicate a perfect meal. Plus, the 9 Indian languages support makes it incredibly accessible for family members or domestic help. Saves Time & Effort: You don't have to stand over the stove watching the food. You just prep, follow the screen prompt, and let the machine do its magic. Cleanup is also surprisingly easy. A Few Things to Keep in Mind: It does take up a bit of counter space, so make sure you have a dedicated spot for it near a power outlet. There is a slight learning curve to get used to the automated cooking pacing, but the guided recipes mitigate this completely. Final Verdict: With over 5 lakh meals cooked globally, the reliability shows. It’s an investment, but for busy professionals, students, or families looking to eat healthy, home-cooked Indian meals with minimal effort, the Upliance 1.0 is worth every single rupee. Highly recommended!
