Review: I’m obsessed!!! - I bought the Rugged Cliff. Upon first use, I didn’t care for the scent, as I thought it was a bit strong. This did however lessen the more I used it. I ended up reaching out to the folks at Vintage Tradition and long story short, they ended up sending me another scent free of charge. They didn’t have to do that, and it was so pleasantly unexpected. I LOVE the tallow. I use it everywhere on my body (including my face) and have noticed positive changes. I’m honestly addicted to this stuff. I love the product, I love the company, and I will continue to support this business. Review: Like this product, but not this scent - I bought this because my SIL once gave me a small pot of rendered tallow and it was excellent for my cracked and dry winter hands. Once it was gone I searched out this product and it really works very well. There were several scents to choose from and I settled on Rugged Cliff after reading comments that it smelled good. Well...scent is a personal thing and to me this one smells like peppered beef. Not anyone's fault, just not a smell I like in the slightest. The jar lists the essentials oils used...which would be great to add to the seller's description but mine doesn't smell like what is described anyway.

Super grainy!
Just got this product a few days ago. It smells pretty good, but it's hard to get out of the jar, doesnt "melt in" quickly, and it leaves these grainy bits everywhere. I pretty much have to heat it up in my hands for a few minutes before I can even apply it because it's so hard, and even then, once it does soak in, I'm covered in grainy bits I have to brush off. I'm probably not gonna order this brand of tallow again.

I am an old lady {70 years}! This salve is perfect for dried skin from the cold. This salve is perfect for smooth feet all winter long... This salve is perfect for my hands in the cold walking my dogs or riding my ponies... This salve stays on body.... Very few ingredients....

Fabulous natural moisturizer!
Smells great and works great. Use it mostly as an after-shave balm. Excellent product!
