No batteries included and no battery information included. Battery container specifies 1.5v AAA ; however, be aware true solar charged batteries are 1.2v. Not all rechargeable batteries are solar recharged - they require an electrical charging unit

Worked great! I replaced them with bees for a baby shower decoration and they worked the same.

Noisy! No battery! Doesn't recharge rechargeable battery. Only works with new battery - solar cells do nothing.

This is a 3-pack of solar-powered butterflies that works well in outdoor gardens to give a pop of color. Nothing lights up on them, but the solar energy from the sun makes them “dance,” and it’s really pretty to watch since they’re so colorful. These are perfect garden decor because they add both movement and color. One thing I’ve noticed is that on non-sunny days they won’t work as well, but there is an option to add batteries so they can still move. Really cute garden decor.
