He was so excited to get these and have his own. They are small enough that they fit perfect in his hand. The volume is very clear and easy to turn up and down. My only complaint, which is small is that the button you push to talk is the same volum even if the volume is turned down. The range for these walkie talkies is very good. My son can be inside the house with his friend outside and it is a clear signal. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐ So-so *by B***B on Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2019* We bought four of these. We've had consistent issues with two of the four. The two that do work well, are great, so I compromised and gave this item three stars. However, I would not buy them again. One of the walkie talkies will only work on voice activated which drives everyone crazy. The other one that doesn't work seems to have a variety of different issues. The long range is advertised correctly, although not 3 miles. We've tested the range by keeping one at the house and sending our son out in the neighborhood on his bike.
