This is a 100% synthetic, ester-based 4T oil, and you can tell the difference right away — throttle response feels sharper and gear changes go in smoother, especially when riding hard or hitting higher RPMs. Clutch engagement is strong with zero slipping, which is important since some "friction modified" oils cause issues in wet-clutch systems — this one's formulated correctly for that. Engine also seems to run a touch cooler and quieter, likely due to the better film strength ester oils are known for. Used on R15M in Mizoram. Smoother than Yamalube (obviously), easier gear shifts, vibrations gone, feels consistently good in traffic as well as speeding, engine protection seems fine as oil did not have much debris when changing. Good oil that matches and exceeds R15 V3/V4 requirements. Used it for around 5000km. Vibrations could be felt after 3000km of aggressive daily riding (43km). When drained for oil change only 800ml was left, meaning 200ml was "burned" during the course of 5000km.

The newer bottle design is well thought out and makes pouring easier compared to older versions. That said, there is still a small chance of spillage or overflow while pouring. Including a dedicated funnel or pour-assist attachment would make the experience even better. Motul engine oil gives very smooth performance and better engine response. I have been using it for a long time and the engine feels smoother with less vibration. Good quality and totally worth it.

JUST WOW! I put this oil inside my 2020 Brozz 250cc dual sport (wet clutch). And what a difference it made! Smoother shifting, a little bit faster, better performance at the high red line. The previous oil I was using was Honda brand, 10-40w. And this stuff puts it to shame, if you’re thinking about putting this oil in your motorcycle, dirt-bike or ATV. JUST DO IT! You will not regret it!! In my opinion this is the best oil you can get and the price really isn’t that much different from what else is out there considering how good the quality is of the MOTUL 7100 is. This picture is after I changed the oil I ran the bike for about an hour HARD AS HELL. And the oil is still relatively clear and you can still see the red tint no problem. In addition the oil actually cleaned the engine, making my oil level window, essentially looking brand, new and clear!!
