I’ve always had Hoover carpet washers and have always been impressed with how well they deep clean my carpets, especially with having two cats. Pet hair is just part of life, and even when I vacuum before using a carpet cleaner, some hair still manages to get stuck in the brushes. That was one of the big reasons I upgraded to this model. What I love most is how much easier it is to keep the machine itself clean. After using it, I don’t feel like I have to take everything apart and fight with the bristles to get leftover hair and debris out. The clean-out/self-cleaning feature makes such a big difference. It’s one of those things I didn’t realize I needed until I had it. Now the carpet washer feels ready to go the next time I need it, instead of feeling like another chore after I already cleaned the carpet. The cleaning performance is also great. My carpets feel fresh, the machine is easy to use, and it does a really good job pulling up dirt and pet mess from everyday life. For a home with cats, it has been a huge help. My only small complaint is that I do miss the dual-tank design from some of the older Hoover models I’ve had. I liked having one tank just for water and a separate one for the cleaning solution. With this one, you mix them together in the same tank, which isn’t a dealbreaker, but I do miss the convenience of keeping them separate and not having to think about the ratio as much. Overall, I’m really happy with this upgrade. It cleans well, it’s easier to maintain, and the self-cleaning/clean-out feature alone makes it worth it for me.

We have a senior cat that unfortunately throws up more than I like to think about. This has been so much easier to use than a hand held carpet cleaner. Pulls everything up including what would normally leave a stain on the carpet. Cleans quickly and does such a good job pulling water back in that the carpet dries fairly quickly. 100% would recommend if you are looking for a carpet cleaners.

Best carpet cleaner I have owned! I washed this carpet 5 times on my hands and knees with a Bissell portable carpet cleaner. Still looked dirty. Bought this, hoping it was worth every $ and man is it! Removed old dog, cat, and kid stains (years old stains) and brightened the whole rug. Fibers are not matted anymore, and we’re back to enjoying games on the floor with the kids with no dog smell! The self cleaning mode is a huge plus, as I dislike disassembling vacuums and such to clean them. I dock this in our garage and do the self cleaning there. All I need to do is take off the cover and rinse it off in the sink— which they make very easy to do. Super happy with this purchase! This machine is the absolute best carpet cleaner I’ve owned. I’ve had the other big company’s machine and this machine blows away the competition. Carpet is dang near dry when done using the dry option. The self rinsing feature is awesome just a little cleaning and your machine is ready to go fresh and clean. The video attached is showing the self rinsing cycle. I cleaned multiple rugs so far with my new machine. I cleaned the rugs on my concrete patio. When you lift up the rug there is no water under the rug. This machine truly recovers 98% of the water used for washing /cleaning. I can’t wait to use the hose attachments to do my carpets in my car. This is my second Hoover purchase within a year. I previously brought the Hoover portable machine and it has been great as well. I will have to come back in a year to do a follow up with how well this machine held up to lots use. Would definitely recommend this purchase for anyone with pets or simply want the best soil and dirt removing clean for your area rugs or wall to wall carpet. I can’t wait to do my large living room area rug.

This is my first purchase of this kind. In the past I would rent a R-Doctor but as the years went by it just became too much of a hassle - a day long event of frenetic activity that had to be planned for in advance - ugh So after a couple years of dirty carpet, thinking I needed to rent a R-Doctor again, but not going through with it, I bought this model instead. Glad I did. Superior to the rental machine in just about every way. Clean water tank capacity and suction were my main criteria and this model delivers. I had a streaky stain on my carpet from many years ago and after a few rentals the rental machine just wouldn't lift it. Whatever it was I figured it was permanent. Imagine my surprise when this unit lifted the stain right out while in Spot mode. What else needs to be said?

Yes this carpet cleaner is expensive but it's better then any other brand I have tried! I use to own a different carpet cleaner (the b brand) after a year of use I could never get it fully cleaned, and it started to leave my carpets with an odor. The Hoover carpet cleaner is powerful, with a few passes my carpets looked brand new! it leaves them almost dry, so you’re not walking around on wet carpet all day (like the b brand). The suction is so amazing that it was picking up tons of dog hair even though I vacuumed before hand! I also love how you can easily clean the dirty tank, suction nozzle, and brushes. The self cleaning mode and tray is a game changer, It helps keep my vacuum brand new!

This carpet cleaner is *awesome*. We have a dog, two cats, and two teen boys that bring over other teen boys to hang out. I wanted to be able to clean the carpet in certain rooms when I want to without having to pay someone to do the whole house. I have the Green Bissell for small stains/pet accidents. But this is exceptional for cleaning entire rooms and getting out large stains quickly. I was really worried it was going to be very cumbersome and complicated to clean. It is shockingly easy to both use and self-clean. You simply fill the clean tank with water and a small amount of solution (the tank is marked, no need to measure), and hit the power button. Then you just use it like a vacuum. When you push it forward it is in wash mode, and when you pull back it is in dry mode. If there is a stain you want to focus on, just tap the mode button and it switches to Spot Wash. When you are done with the area you can go over it again on dry mode to remove any extra water. The tanks are so easy to remove, and you can remove any hair or fur from the nozzles with the brush comb. Finally, you can use the “self clean” mode on the provided storage tray to deep clean the unit and remove any remaining debris from this inside tubes, etc. Also, it is basically the weight of a full size vacuum. 100% recommend.

I've had a Bissell Little Green Clean Machine for years and it works great but it's not possible to fully clean the dirty tank or the upholstery tool, so they are kinda gross. So imagine my delight at discovering you can COMPLETELY take apart and clean every part of this bad boy! I used it for several hours today and was easily able to get it completely clean just by rinsing the tank and running the Self Clean mode. I'm a vacuum snob (we have a Miele) and never thought I would own a Hoover but this thing is the real deal. Just buy it!
