Nady SSPF-3 – Microphone Spider Shockmount With Integrated Pop Filter

Overall I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The rubber bands are thin but sturdy enough. I have it paired with a sennheiser 416 shotgun mic and a Heil mount and it will work out just fine. For the price, I don't think you can find a better design. If for some reason this breaks, I can easily just order a new one since they are so reasonably priced. Very happy with my purchase and I highly recommend.

I bought this because I had seen it recommended elsewhere for a Samson Q2U but the mic doesn't fit in this. I'm posting this review to let others know that in case they happen upon the same information I did. I'm giving it 5 stars even though I can't use it because the build quality is nice for both the shockmount and the pop filter. It looks and feels solid and I love the size. I really wish it fit a slightly bigger mic.

Well constructed. Pop filter is quality metal mesh. However, my Shure Beta 87a barely fits after removing the ball on the end of the rod that hold the filter, and it’s basically unusable with a Sennheiser e935.Wish a larger version was available.

The perfect size for the  Audio-Technica AT875R Line/Gradient Shotgun Condenser Microphone . My only complaint is that there are no spare rubber bands for the shock mount. If these rubber bands ever wear or break, It's going to be difficult to find replacements.
