See review for what did work. *by M***. on August 23, 2024* I started with this part after getting a P0449 code on my 2010 Chevy Silverado. It did not work. It was easy to install and surely works correctly. My truck needed to have the Canister Valve Solenoid replaced. I replaced the Canister Valve Solenoid and the engine light has not come back on. Between this part and the other part, you should be able to fix your vehicle and get rid of the this code. I'm sure I still saved alot of money doing the repair myself even though I may have been incorrect with my initial effort. So, if this part does not work, try the Canister Valve Solenoid too.
