Love this deodorant! Works great, dries clear, and a little goes a long way; making it last. One star lost because they changed their packaging of the container to a very matte/smooth finish which makes it almost impossible to get the cap off. Especially for someone with arthritis, who never knows when their hands will work or not. Thankfully I live with someone who can help from time to time, but it’s not cool to have to be dependent on them. I also try to remember to not close it all the way, but then I worry about it drying out. I emailed the company through their website, hoping they’ll take the feedback and incorporate something to the lid that aids with gripping it better; but it's been a week or so with no acknowledgement.

I love this brand. But I have to be real about the flaws. This happened with a brand new container. I opened it, turned the dial and waited. Turned and waited. Felt pressure in the following turns. But nothing was coming up. So I waited, turned it some more. And the dial popped away from the container. I used the counter defiantly. Because this has happened before. Surely it can be fixed. But instead everything that refused to come out splurged out, I tried turning the dial back. (It popped away from the container again. Sometimes if you push too much out, simply reversing the dial makes it go back. I knew it wouldn’t work entirely. But I hoped I’d save some.) I pushed the container back down defiantly once more. Trying to save this mess from getting worse. But more came out. Then it happened once more. The last time less came out. But I’m pissed. Why does this happen? For the cost? This is insane and wasteful. It’s unacceptable and straight up robbery. Half of this container I’m sure is now wasted.

I've ruined white undershirts with yellow pit staines for almost 4 decades. I've tried all the internet "hacks' to remove these stains, none of them work. Not even bleach. Not sure who else has this problem, but my close family members have the same issue. Eventually my wife throws out my stained white undershirts and buys new ones. I saw an ad for this and figured why not... Being a scientist at heart I conducted my own experiment with 1 subject - me. I boght a bunch of brand new t-shirts switched over to using only Carpe. It's been 3 months and all my t-shirts hav e remained dry and NO MORE STAINS!! I was skeptical, but it just simply works. I've only tried the Mountain Breeze but I like it, so can't speak for any of the other scents. For me the cons are minimal. People complain about it being sticky and getting on your clothes, well that's not new. Put on any white deodorant and try putting on a black t-shirt, same issue. First, brush your teeth, make some coffee, or whatever and let it dry for a few minutes before you put your shirt on. Second, roll your shirt up a few times so the outside of your shirt is not exposed, put the shirt on then roll it back down. Problem solved and you don't get any deodorant (technically "antiperspirant") on the outside of your shirt. Who cares if you get a litte on the inside. The biggest "con" for me is of course the price. It'sexpensive, almost 5 times what my old standby Speed stick Irish Spring costs. I will save plenty of money on t-shirts that don't get pit stained, but it's still a little more expensive over the course of a year. I may have less t-shirts in our household rag bag, but at least I'm doing a little something to help the environment, at least that's what I tell myself. Also, I followed the instructions to apply it twice a day at the beginning, but that will double your cost because you'll run through it twice as fast. After a few days I just applied it once per day and still works just as well for me. There are a few products that just plain work and I'll spend the extra money for them, this is one of them. I sometimes work 24 hours shifts and when I take my undershirt oiff at the end of a really long day and it's still white and dry, and I still have all brand new looking white t-shirts at the end of my 3 month experiment ... winning.
