Family PRIORITIES had taken precedence over prom details, as the day before (4/19) our prom dress search, my beloved brother (in-law of 23 years) passed after his 3 year battle with cancer. My daughter had looked for a dress a few times at local malls and dress attire shops, but ended up disappointed. So I thought lets look on Amazon, never know, right? We saw this dress and it was love at first sight for my daughter! She wanted to look no more, this was "THE ONE", as she wanted to feel and look like Cinderella....I took her measurements and ordered the size closest to her measurements. Once I placed the order, I realized the delivery date was May 13, a day before the prom!! I was worried about it coming from overseas! Would it get here on time? Should she need alterations, because the size we ordered was closest to her measurements, but not exact, there'd be no time to do so! Would the dress be as impressive as it looked on Amazon? Should I risk it or just continue to look for a dress locally?So, at 2am I decided to email the seller....(***VERY IMPORTANT FOR ALL WHO ORDER, TO DO THIS!!!!!***….) I sent my daughter's exact measurements, bust, hips and waist ***(I didn't send her height measurement, please do send this measurement, as the length of the dress was my only con. I explain below))***, and explained my procrastination on finding her a dress and my worry about May 13th being the delivery, that her prom was the following day.To my surprise, the seller messaged me back within two hours! The seller expressed her condolences, and told me they had my daughter's measurements and PROMISED the dress would be made to my daughter's exact measurements, so I wouldn't have to worry about alterations, and also, that they would have the dress delivered to us before May 13th!! I expressed my sincere and deep appreciation. A few minutes later, I received another email from the seller, asking if I knew how high of a heel my daughter would be wearing, I said an 1" to 1 1/2".May 7th, I and others who expected a May 13th delivery (according to amazon), were sent an email from the seller, expressing worry and deep apologies, that the delivery may be later than expected! Due to a holiday on May 5th, the delivery company wasn't promising delivery expectances given to the buyers when they placed their orders on amazon. Well I went into PANIC mode!!! I immediately emailed the seller and expressed my concern; my daughter's prom was the day after the original expectancy date of May 13. As I waited for a return email, and chewed off all my fingernails (lol), I received an email back from the seller, who once again, explained I need not worry, delivery went as expected and I could track the package! Once again, I expressed my gratitude! I went through the tracking number for the delivery company, DHL , and set up text alerts for the package. I received the dress on May 11th (before the expected due date) and when we opened it, it was just as beautiful as it had looked on Amazon and it fit, (length was a bit to long, my fault for not sending her height measurement, but turned out not to be a problem, explanation below) she looked as PRETTY as a PRINCESS!!!! No alterations were needed! In the pictures I added along with this review, my daughter is wearing a 4 tier hoop skirt, she wanted the full Cinderella effect, but even without the hoop skirt the dress is full and can be worn beautifully without one! I know now were I will look first for my daughter's dress for next year's prom (she'll be a senior) and for my 3 other girls who look forward to their Jr and senior proms.Cons: *****(Which I don't even feel is a con, should I have not procrastinated, I could have had it altered, as most prom dresses bought off a website, would need to be and this seller went above and beyond to make this whole situation less worrisome for myself and daughter, and they totally succeeded!! )*****So, when I refer this seller to someone, my only con (tip/suggestion) would be, the dress was a bit to long, so, MAKE SURE YOU EMAIL THE SELLER YOUR MEASUREMENTS, not just order the dress size that matches closest to your measurements. I didn't add my daughter's height to the measurements I emailed. So I'm not sure if the seller has an approximate height chart for the different sizes, but my daughter is short, she's only 5' 4" and the size closest to her measurements that we ordered was a US16. It worked out anyway, because I had told the seller my daughter was wearing a 1" to an 1 1/2" heel (which I didn't include in her measurements, the seller emailed me asking for this measurement, which again, was very thoughtful of the seller!!) When my daughter put the dress on, without shoes, it was to long. Thankfully, prior to receiving the dress, my daughter chose to wear these silver platform boots/sneakers, which added 4" to her height, which was 2 1/2 to 3" more, than I originally told the seller). Even with the difference in shoe height, the dress was still visibly long, but it worked out wonderfully, she wasn't stepping on it and my daughter and the dress returned home as beautifully intact as when they left for the ball 😉To the Seller: I CANT EXPRESS ENOUGH, HOW GRATEFUL I AM THAT YOUR DRESS WAS THE CHOSEN ONE, AND WHEN WE OPENED IT, IT PROVED TO BE JUST AS IMPRESSIVE AS IT LOOKED ONLINE. I am so happy with it. Exactly as pictured (I have a hoop skirt under it but it's just as beautiful without one). The fabric is very high quality. The bodice is totally sheer which I was not expecting, but it doesn't show anything. Some of the boning was a little crooked so I'll definitely wear it with a corset underneath to help hold the form. The sleeves kind of ride up my arms so I'll have to pin it down and maybe tape to my arms (I have chubby arms so this isn't a surprise or flaw of the dress.) The skirt is gorgeous with a thick lining, beautiful silk underlayer, and several thick layers of very soft tulle that have great body and are very comfortable. The embellishments are gorgeous! The seller was extremely communicative and very helpful. They got it to me on a rush order just in time, custom sized without any extra charge. The pictures do not do it justice!!UPDATE: I am more impressed with this dress the longer I have it. The only issue is the sleeves are too small for me and they don't sit where they should. I should have given them that measurement so they could have made it a little bigger. I would just say send them your measurements! These are not mass-produced dresses, they make each to order so there is no cost to make it custom fitted.
