If you or a loved one must use a feeding tube BUY THESE!! I was “eating” just protein shakes for a year and a half. I felt I NEEDED actual real food but I also didn’t want to cook meals, blend them, clean up all the dishes and quiet frankly cooking has lost all interest for me since I’m unable to enjoy it. So, when I found these I was hopeful!! They only use real food ingredients! And a pouch is filling. I gravity feed so I just mix it with some warm water and it’s no problem at all. I’m very happy and highly highly recommend.

After 7 weeks of oral radiation and a huge weight loss, my husband temporarily has a g-tube to supplement what he's able to eat by mouth. Ensure and other brands of nutritional drinks were making him sick so the hospital nutritionist gave us six varieties of Real Food to try. Game changer for him. Plus we love that it's real food so he's getting a good variety of nutrients, healthy proteins, fish, eggs, vegetables, grains and fruits. 320 to 340 calories per pack. Our insurance company pays about 70 percent of the cost, making them very affordable. I put a pack in the blender with a little water to thin them out for the g-tube. They must be used within 24 hours so I make 2 to 3 each morning and store them in 8 oz mason jars in the fridge. Very easy to use, and we have peace of mind knowing he's getting the nutrition he needs while recovering from chemo and radiation. Highly recommend. Great product.

The best product I have found so far. My dad is on a feeding tube and we had to find something to help him still get his daily nutrition and this has worked great. Mix with about a cup of water and may require stirring for it to go down smoothly and we feed him two and sometimes three meals a day. I truly believe in the work this company is doing and recommend it highly.

Let me start in saying; I found this for a "Snack" (as we call it) for my Grandfather. He cannot eat anything by mouth and has a "G-tube" in his stomach which all meds and food go through. He takes 3 8 ounce cans of "TwoCal" daily. He wanted to see if he could have something different and I found "Real Food Blends" Perfect solution! So here's the Pros: They all are very healthy and, apparently, tastes really good! All 6 blends are perfect combos! Great alternative to regular canned liquids! Am able to make 1 pouch last 2 days! Cons: (this only applies to people using a G-tube or JG-tube) Each pouch does need water added (some more than others) so with that said I use a Magic Bullet. I add the full pouch and add water accordingly then blend! It's very easy and as previously stated; it'll allow for splitting the 9.4 once pouch over 2 days! Overall, this product has been Awesome and honestly can't say a bad thing about it!

Every one of these meals contains fruit or fruit juice resulting in an unwanted sweetness. Examples: chicken, carrots & brown rice contains orange juice; and salmon, oats & squash contains apple juice. I have added all kinds of seasonings but cannot overcome the sweet taste. I have thrown them out.

This is the healthiest and best food, Real food, that I have been giving to my husband since his surgery. Two more weeks and he should be able to have the feeding tube removed with the help of this nutrional food!!
