**Update 11/2/25 After reaching out to the company they are sending me a replacement at no cost! So due to that I am giving them the rating I believe they deserve for taking care of their customers.**I bought this monitor and camera set 6 months ago based on the good reviews. This is a fairly pricy set and today my monitor totally crashed. It just had a software update about a week ago. Now without WiFi it’s totally useless. I am very upset and of course the return window is already over. I recommend this set to all 5 of my sisters in law 3 of which are looking for a good monitor set. I will be telling them not to bother and I hope this review helps others as well. I am really upset about this happening because before this I really loved this setup.

El equipo funcionó 2 meses y después el monitor ya no prende la pantalla, ya no me sirve si no tiene video... Tuve un monitor Vtech similar y uncionó muy bien, aqui el detalle es que el monitor no se conecta al WIFI y no se puede cambiar la configuración como se hacia en otras versiones... Las cámaras si las puedes ver por WiFi pero el monitor si tiene que estar conectado directo a las cámaras.

Tiene 2 meses que lo compre y ahora la pantalla no se ve, solo se escucha. Es una lástima por que de verdad q me había gustado

Great baby cam, this is my third. You can do patrol mode to switch between rooms, or manually switch. The app is also great and it’s free. The app allows you to see movement history so I easily know when my baby woke up from his last nap which helps with his nap schedule & sleepy cues. The box includes two wall mounts which are great too.

I purchased the VTech VM901-2HD because the Amazon listing described it as a Wi-Fi baby monitor. However, the unit I received does not support Wi-Fi. It only works through a direct RF connection between the parent unit and the cameras, which was very disappointing since Wi-Fi capability was one of the main reasons I chose this model.I also noticed that this version is different from the original VM901 (single-camera version) that I purchased about two years ago. That model had a threaded mounting insert on the bottom of the parent unit, while this one does not, making it impossible to mount it the same way.To make matters worse, after only about 6 months of actual use (9 months since purchase), the parent unit completely failed. It no longer displays the VTech startup logo and only shows a dark screen with horizontal and vertical lines, making the monitor unusable.Overall, I’m very disappointed with the quality and consistency of this product. I expected much better durability and a product that matched the advertised features.
