To clarify, it does not keep the food hot after 4 hrs or so. But the food stays warm by lunch time. I actually prefer it warm than too hot. Also, it keeps the food fresh, never had spoilt lunch food. The downside is the design of the lid, I agree with some other comments that it take maybe 2 to 3 attempt when closing it, as the thread does not help aligning the lid. Double check that it may appear closed but it actually is misaligned

Black coating is gone after 1 month

the rubber stopper on the small hole on the lid became brittle overtime causing it to fall off and making the container leak.

The construction and quality of this food thermos is excellent. It’s definitely a winner and one of the best purchases I’ve made this year. Yet I product are built to last a lifetime and this is no exception. Very happy!

Excelente producto. La comida se mantiene caliente durante varias horas. El resultado es mejor si antes preparas el termo con agua caliente y cerrado, al menos unos diez minutos antes de poner los alimentos. No es estorboso y el tamaño es ideal para llevarlo en la mochila.

Love the size, look, keeps food warm(not terribly hot). I use it for work lunches. A little expensive. But worth it

This wonderful thermos food container! showed up in great condition not a scuff... feels amazing in the hand the labeling is elegant and the product works exactly how they say- if not better! I spent much time researching thermoses what is a good quality thermos company and so forth and this company seems to stand true! Based on my research Stanley and Thermos are are excellent companies - if you are looking for a quality wide mouth food container for a day adventure for hot chocolate or ice cream - hot oats- pasta - chili whatever you desire - this is the one for you! I am very pleased that I can use a long Korean style spoon to reach the bottom of the container and eat easily without a fuss - I will add that I have small hands and I find it quite easy to hold this container because of the little dips on the sides - feel more confident while eating or drinking - if you want a longer hot or cold time definitely get a larger food container from Stanley BUT if you're looking for a wide mouth - easy to clean container that you can eat directly out of - keeps your food hot or cold and is comfortable to hold and let me not forget to mention - made with non-toxic materials! - this is the one for you! thank you so much Stanley! (Just as a side note I think that a non-slip bottom would be a great addition to this product)
