Excellent quality mill stone!
Arrived exactly as sold and described. Super good quality. Will be a staple of my kitchen until I die. Have used to grind tea and grain both with good success.

Not worth it
Spits out the grain and doesn't mill it

A traditional grain mill
My family was very excited to receive this grain mill. All of us gathered around to try milling flour from wheat berries. First go round it was obvious it would take some learning. This mill is very traditional. If using wheat berries, it will take several rounds to get a grind fine enough to make bread. I found the experience to be satisfying and a workout. Certainly makes me appreciate homemade bread more. I would recommend this to anyone who is eager to have fresh ground flour from a source that is more traditional. This grain mill seems like it will last for many many years.

Old fashioned grinding
I wanted to grind flour the old-fashioned way and this does the trick! It is slow and there was a learning curve, and not much on the internet. That was some practice. You can grind it.Fine enough to go through a fine sifter. I did have to mix it with bread flour or the bread wouldn't rise if I tried to use all this flour. But overall happy with the results

Trying The Old Fashion Way
Came very well packaged and was easy to assemble. It is a little wobbly and not as stable as I hoped. I washed it and prepped it as instructed and tried to mill some beans. It took six times of grinding to start seeing what looked like flour. It will take some time to get use to and love the idea of using this old fashion method, especially during these weird times.
