The only reason I had to look at the instructions was to find out how to delete files (which was to hold the mode button)The Mic is amazing. It picks up everything I say clearly even if I'm a long way away.The built in speakers are loud and ok quality and you can plug your headphones in to listen back which is a easier listen.8gb built is plenty of space for hours of audio and there is even a mode that you can use this as a mp3 player.For the price I paid for this great little device you get lots of features that other more expensive recorders don't have and I feel this will everywhere with me ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Some force needed to get things working *by J***E on 1 March 2019* This item was very well packed and included the device itself (with integral battery) a USB charging cable and multilingual instructions.At first I thought I’d received a broken item as the USB cable wasn’t charging the recorder but then I found it just needed pushing in very tightly into the recorder before the connector worked. The on/off button needed extra strength fingers to turn device on too.I used the HQ setting to record a conference (I thought SQ Superior Quality was the higher setting), which turned out to be WAV and which the device surging about three hours of recording. It caused a panic as I couldn’t copy items off mid-conference so had to use my mobile until a break came. I assume (haven’t actually confirmed by testing) that SQ must be MP3, and HQ WAV.Has the same USB cable issue again copying to Mac so had to push cable in extra tight and then it worked fine.All in all a good device, but lost a stars for its frail feel and the necessary aggressive use of buttons to get things working.
