For those who complained about this hair tangling or not turning about the way they wanted: quality of installation and upkeep matter. In regards to braiding, this hair is not meant to be braided. You are supposed to buy braiding hair separately and attach these curls at the end of each braid. Don't take them out of the package until you are ready to install them. As for tangling, yes the hair does tangle, but nothing a little water won't fix. My braider was knowledgeable and smart, she did acknowledge that this hair tangles but it was easily manageable with a few spritzs from a spray bottle. At the end she scrunched it with light oil and they looked and felt great, zero frizz or tangles. As for upkeep, I slept in a bonnet. Morning routine involved separating any tangles by and spraying the curls with water/conditioner/oil. The photo above is after 2 months of wear, and the curls actually better than day 1.

The hair came in clear packages and was netted. It had 2 small bundles per package. It looks like it’s not enough hair but I actually had half a bundle leftover after doing smedium French curl boho. The hair did not have any weird smells and did not tangle as I was piecing it apart. I did use a little oil during the process so I think that helped. It was super soft and lightweight!I have fine hair and while doing my style I did not add any additional braiding hair, I only used this hair. It gave my hair the perfect thickness and it’s not too heavy.I’ve had my style in for two weeks now and I have experienced minimal shedding. I did actually brush out a boho piece but it was my fault for being too heavy handed and not the hair itself. It does tangle, but when i don’t have a brush i use the pull apart method and the knots come right out. At night i use a little bit of oil and my tangle teaser and it makes my braids look brand new. The quality is great! Still has great shine and manageability and the curls have stayed in tact! For the amount received and money spent, this hair is a great value and i would definitely recommend it!

The hair is very skimpy in the pack, it comes with two bundles per pack but each bundle is the thickness of my finger so yah, not very much hair at all and unlike the picture, the majority of the color is gold, not the beautiful copper color with a hint of gold that is presented in the pictures. The hair is very difficult to braid with as it tangles constantly and I’ve spent more time sets fling the hair before, during and after braiding than I have braiding it. I recommend you try a different product bc this one ain’t kickin. I’m tired of ppl making a lot of money off of women, esp black wimen, bc they know we use to see protective styles and have limited options to choose from at in-person stores. I am feeling like this is predatory behavior. I would return it but I am going to functions this weekend and need my hair done. I will come back and update as to whether or not the two packs were enough for my whole head. I am revising the braids I had planned bc if the hair and that is very disappointing and is heartening as well.

This hair is amazing. If you braid really small or make sure the braids have layers and not all falling in the same area, you will avoid the "tangling" myth. The curls drop the longer you wear them but you still have a beautiful wavy set of braids by the end. I would recommend this brand over any in-store french curl braids because it does not have that baby-doll, obnoxious sheen to the hair. Love this down.

Very good choice if you’re looking for a deep, vibrant purple on a budget. I will say it tangles worse than other French curl hair I’ve bought on Amazon. I’m on day 3 and I’m overstimulated asf. But i look cute asf so imma just try my best to detangle and make it last.

Length was fine. Final look of the hair was fine. This hair is difficult to style with normal box braids because it is really slick, silky, and slippery. Consider using it in a crotchet type style where the hair can be attached more securely at the base. The hair is durable and does not tangle and there is no shedding (except maybe in the braid process, for box braids). Once affixed, the hair stays in place.

This hair was soft and the color is a vibrant burgundy! It was easy to install and lasted pretty long especially because it is synthetic. Overall it was a great purchase and the hairstyle came out great!

I love it so much! Before braiding my hair i sprayed the curly hair with conditioner water. Then took the gold band off the hair. I messed a few pieces because it tangles easily. I detangled slowly or just but the knots. Not smell to the hair at all. After spray with conditioner water it smelled like that only. Didn’t irritate my skin or head. I used it like regular braiding hair. It’s not heavy in your head at all.
