My Favorite Boots These boots have been awesome. I’ve hiked in Salomons for years, but as my arches flatten I can’t seem to find the right size anymore. Bought these have a waterproof boot for traveling as the grey colorway looked really sharp. I have been shocked at how well they performed. They are comfortable and roomy without feeling loose, the soul has a great amount of cushion without being too soft. Have used them in Northwestern rain and East Coast slush and they have done amazing from a waterproofing standpoint. Recently completed a Via Ferrata in them: the soles have really good grip and my feet felt great even after a long day. They run about a 1/4 size bigger than standard, which is perfect if you are in search a 13.5 shoe. Now PLEASE make a low top trail shoe version of this amazing boot!

I purchased these boots in July of 2025, grey, size 13. Four months later, with heavy use, these boots are my favorite. I own several boots (most in this type of price range) and these have been my go to. I originally purchased to have a durable, waterproof boot for summer. I hike an average of about 10 miles a week and have 4 dogs that enjoy roaming the forest that we live in. I also have plenty of work on my property. These boots worked great doing it all. They didn't make my feet to warm in the hot and humid summer. They felt great. Along with all that, I used them for everyday stuff like running errands, going out, etc. They look good with jeans and cargos. As much as I liked they way the grey looking in the amazon picture, I was hesitant to get that color, thinking they might be to light or bright or get to dirty to quick. Non of that applied because they grey is really nice looking. Not to light at all. They don't seem to get dirty and wash off well. I've had them deep in mud, covered but it rinsed right off and went back to the nice grey. Comfort is there. The insoles are a bit thin but worked for a while. I have problems with my feet and back so went with my custom insoles after a while. It's getting cold by me now and I still use them, but I think pretty soon I'll be setting them aside for the spring. They don't keep my feet as warm as id like in 30 degree weather. But thats OK, not what I got them for anyway. The waterproofing is great, never got wet feet using these in the rain, mud and wondering through streams and swamps. Ill probably clean and treat them with midwax or something over the winter to be ready for a wet spring. The treads are nice and have a very good grip. Quality laces that might be a bit to long. Im not a big fan of lace hooks, like these have up top. But they hold well. I often tie them below the hooks loosely, to make them slip ons (an idea from another reviewer). I actually tie them like that when I take them off so I can run outside quickly when needed (again, 4 dogs). Very happy with these and Nortiv8. Their cs answered all my questions. I just ordered another pair of their boots for winter use that are similar looking to these. Ill review those after some use as well. Can't beat the quality at this price point. Don't look at these as cheap boots, but instead as a deal. I've owned way more expensive boots that didn't perform like these 60 dollar boots.

Great fit, good quality product lightweight and comfortable

Before I continue, these are good shoes, full stop. They off good traction and are relatively light weight. But the most important point for me is the 'toe box'. I am one of these people where the 2nd toe is just a bit longer than the big toe and that causes some discomfort with certain shoes .. not this one!! they are very comfortable and the size chart (actual size not 'trade size' is spot on. ... I wished the quality of the top material would be a bit better ... but they are reasonably priced enough to well make up for it. I am not sure about the 'Waterproof' (and I somewhat doubt it) but that is not a breaking point for me anyway :)

Bien reçu souple couvre bien la cheville et confortable. Il ne reste plus qu’à voir si par temps de pluie elles sont assez étanche.
