I don't understand why people hate this little drive.It's soooo awesome!!!!The "click" works like a ballpoint pen and brings the usb connection in and out.There is a loop on the top to add a lariat (no, it does not come with one).It's very fast, faster than the other jump drives I have of a similar size (Patriot, Kingston, Cruzer). I liked it so much I bought the 16GB for my mom, who transfers large spreadsheets from a laptop to a desktop for work all the time.This drive is also super resilient. I accidently left it in my pocket when I washed my jeans, and put it through a "normal" wash and dry cycle. The video file on it still worked! It was not corrupted! It was super super super resilient!! (The Patriot died because of this type of abuse...)So buy this product, you really won't regret it.

My Sony Bluray player did not recognize this Flash Drive even though it's a Sony Flash Drive. It could be the player since I've tried several in my player and none are recognized. Buy this drive if a good price otherwise not exceptional.

Item works well on all computers/laptops that I own. Speedy. Click feature is very nice - seems solid. I like the fact that it automatically retracts when I remove the drive from a computer - very clever.

This product was used to provide additional memory to a Sony Blu-Ray Disk Plyer. Installation & Setup was Easy, Straightforward with No Problems encountered. I will add that some of the other flash drives I own have teensy LEDs. Hard to see if they are flashing when I am transferring files. It's better to be able to see that the drive is alive, and files are moving (for instance, when you hit Save). I LOVE this drive for that. So, I second what others have said here: tiny, retractable, with brilliant and reassuring flash LED. A winner. I own about 5 of these drives in all storage sizes. Perfectly compatible right out of the package with my Vista and Win7 computers.

I was using this mainly for transporting pictures. Worked well for awhile apart that it wouldn't empty the files after I'd emptied them. Then one day it just decided not to turn on when put it and was simple not recognized and crapped out!

Amazon's listing doesn't say anything about this flash drive being Ready Boost compatible, which is a good thing. It isn't. The problem is that it says it is on the package, but two computers we tried it on reported that it failed the speed tests that Vista does before using the drive for that feature.While it's very responsible for Amazon to avoid such claims, people who shop at a brick-and-mortar store might see the product and shop the Web for a better price. I did and had to return the drive. Now I'm going to buy a Ready Boost drive from that store which I should have in the first place, since returns are easier in person. Sonied again!

I bought this flash drive to enable BD-Live on my older Sony Blu-ray player (BDP-N460). Plugged it into the EXT port on the back and everything works great.

Works great and as expected

I thought this was a really good product. There is adequate space on the memory stick for general file sharing, which is what i use it for. I particually like the way that it clicks open, just like a pen. It can be dropped or sat on and it still stays intact, so it is fairly strong.One small thing though, when it is saving, it flashes blue rather than purple.Good product, deserves 5 stars.First review so please be gentle :)
