PHL Naturals Advanced Retinol Cream with Hyaluronic Acid

This is some good sh*t!! Read the reviews, took a chance and ordered.. I am a 47 year old light skinned black woman and didn't know if it would be compatible to my skin, well it is and it is not super oily, because I have acne prone skin, that was one of my concerns. I have not had a breakout since using this product. I tell you I apply this at night after I wash my face and when I wake up in the morning there is a very noticeable difference in my skin tone and texture. I am super excited and so that glad that I got more than my monies worth. Thanks.

This was a pleasant surprise to find! As I'm aging, I'm finding that the inclusion of retinol in my skincare is really beneficial at keeping it looking its best. But the only problem is, most retinol products irritate my skin. this is one of the very few retinol products my skin really likes because of the combination of other ingredients that help buffer the retinol -- which is what my skin needs! My texture is smoother, and skin looks brighter after about 3 weeks of consistent use. I haven't come across a retinol that has hyaluronic acid in it before -- which is huge for skin hydration. So I get all of the benefits of a more gentle form of retinol, and also the moisture I need here. Great combo in this product!

I need to always have a good solid retinol cream in my arsenal and PHL Naturals does not disappoint. It is thick, and very creamy. I use it mostly as a night cream because of it's thickness, and it coats my skin well, perfect for a night cream. I wake up not being afraid to look in the mirror. It works it's magic and my skin looks smooth and fresh (well as fresh as a 50ish-year-old can look in the morning), but will take longer for more noticeable results, but I do notice a slight improvement so far. I use it during the day occasionally too, but I use it much more sparingly; but, it is best to wear at night.Of course, all we are doing is tossing pennies into the fountain of youth, there is no "miracle" cream out there. But, if the price is right, I am a fan of any cream with a retinoid in it. Keep in mind, non-prescription retinol can take a good 12 weeks before you see any real solid results. I still have the same wrinkles I had before but with regular use, I am hopeful they will gradually soften, even if just temporary. If in 12 weeks, I see major changes, I will update my review to 5-stars.

I've only been using this cream a short time (about 2 weeks) but with consistent use, I'm already noticing a difference. I've got super sensitive, dry skin as well as frequently getting breakouts of eczema on my face so I was hesitant to try anything new. I generally only use micellar water and Cetaphil lotion on my face. I went ahead a took the chance on this product after reading the positive reviews and I'm so glad I did. All I do is wipe my face down with micellar water and apply this cream right before I go to bed and I'm noticing smoother, more hydrated, more even and full skin even after only 2 weeks. I definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to improve or maintain their skin, even people with sensitive skin. Give this a try!

I love this product!I've been using it for a few weeks now and I am noticing reduction in my pores, less pimples/blackheads, and the darkness under my eyes has improved. I have extremely sensitive, dry skin so I was a bit worried about trying something new. I am a believer now. I've only ever used Aveeno, but adding this to my nightly skin care has made a significant improvement in how my face looks and feels. The actual cream is a very silky smooth texture and a little goes a long way. I love that it is a pump also. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family!

I love this stuff. Its meant for use at night and I can see why, it is a little thick going on but it works great. It has not made my skin breakout or caused any irritation. I started to notice the most difference about a week into use, I started seeing the fine lines around my eyes getting noticeably smoother. I am always nervous using retinol creams because I tend to be pretty sensitive to it but this is not to strong that there is no irritation at all.Definitely recommend this and excited to see results with longer use. Will be buying again.

I have only been using for a short time (1 month) but I do think it has been helpful. However, My 65 yr old skin is pretty damaged and would like to check back in in 6 months. I am also using some 5 star other products (moisturizer and serum) which should help also. I prob need dermabrasion but dont like pain. This would prob work great on younger skin and I have recommended to my daughter.

Once I hit my 30s, I noticed all my friends were jumping on the filler train. I was tempted for a while but I'm scared of needles and the price tag on that was more than I was willing to pay just to get rid of these annoying forehead wrinkles that seemed to popup overnight. No one else seems to notice them but I'm obsessed with fixing them.I read up on Retinol and it's anti-wrinkle benefits. After much research, I decided this was the right plan for me but then it came down to picking a cream. I liked that this cream is a gentle formula. I was worried about stinging and this truly is gentle. It's a lighter lotion which is awesome because I was worried about that greasy feeling some lotions cause but this wasn't the case. It goes on well. The natural ingredients on top of no animal testing was a huge sell for me. I noticed my forehead wrinkles were a bit smoother after just a few days of use so that was very awesome to see. My skin was softer and brighter as well. I look forward to seeing what my forehead looks like after a month of use.
