I was bitten by one of my cats and had to have a debridement done. This has left me with residual numbness in my thumb, and I've tried a number of bandages, most of which made the problem worse by cutting off the circulation. Since I can't feel what's going on, I'm in danger of further injury and infection. These gel finger cots are perfect!! They have a good deal of padding, so they're great protection, and they're snug without cutting off the circulation!! They're also waterproof, which makes them even better. I'll definitely be ordering more

I got these because I have eczema on my fingers. I tend to pick at my fingers and make my eczema worse. So these really help me to stop picking and flaring up my skin worse. They are a soft, stretchy, and thick silicone material. They are extremely easy to wash and clean. I usually put my lotion on first and then apply these. I find no issues with breathability. They are very comfortable to wear for daily use. I wear medium sized gloves so I ordered medium. The fit is perfect. I recommend getting the size similar to your glove size if you want it to be breathable for your skin.

Silicone can get dirty but they stay on and protect as intended. Would recommend.

Soft, stretchy, thin and highly protective!!! ​I recently cut my thumb and ended up needing 14 stitches. My doctor actually suggested getting these silicone finger protectors, and they have been an absolute lifesaver during my recovery, I had the stitches in for two weeks and I am still using these covers to protect the new skin healing over the wound. ​Before using these, my biggest struggle was my stitches getting caught and snagged on everything... sleeves, blankets, pockets, you name it. Sliding one of these over my thumb completely solved that problem. If you are recovering from a finger or thumb injury, don't hesitate to buy these. They made my healing process so much more comfortable! A great price for a great product!

I bought these to protect my finger while knitting. Unfortunately, they didn’t work. I could still feel the needle right thru the protective cover. I don’t think these would protect u from much. They are very stretchy. Ok comfort. Ur finger will not breathe tho. And I thought these were thick until I tried knitting with them and could feel the needle almost as well as not having one on at all. So pointless. U do get a fair amount though for the money. I guess if ur using these for something other than trying to protect ur fingers from being poked by something sharp it might work. But if ur trying to protect ur fingers from pokes.. it’s a no go. These do not help. The needle goes straight thru the silicone gel material. I ended up buying those little rubber numbers that go under the bottom of like a laptop or inside of kitchen cabinets to prevent them from slamming. Those work amazing as far protecting my finger from knitting needle pokes and i forget I’m wearing it most of the time so they’re far more comfortable. They are also very sticky. I recommend those instead of these for knitting needle protection.

The case that these silicone finger protectors is appreciated. They are good quality, comfortable, and protect well. If you're a fidgeter they make a nice snappy sound at the base. I bought these to break a habit and so far they are working.

Perfect! My cat bit my finger very deep while I was trying to trim his nails and it sent me to the hospital for an irrigation and debridement procedure. After about 2 weeks when the wound healed but the finger was still healing and very numb I needed something for the weeks and possibly months it will take for the nerves to heal. I found these protectors and thought they could do the job.... and they did! They are soft and pliable, comfortable, easy to get on and off, and protect my healing finger. They also reduce the sensation of numbness and soreness in my finger by being a protective cushioned barrier. Plus you get a lot in this package!
