I canโt wait to make loofahs out of this
When I was looking at the comments, I didnโt know what to expect but now that I have it itโs soft itโs cotton. I donโt understand what people want it to be, but itโs perfect for cotton projects and you can always block it after you finish your project or steam it beforehand if itโs not soft enough for you the weight is perfect. I know itโs gonna work up very well because Iโm gonna use it for loofah and itโs a perfect yarn size so I would definitely recommend it. Donโt listen to the comments some people expect a miracle from everything itโs five dollars and itโs a really good buy for five dollars. You get three whole skiens of yarn. Iโm super excited about it and think about it. Iโve just bought it because to add onto the free Amazon shipping well my daughter did but still.

Great Cotton Yarn - Perfect for Crochet Dishcloths
Great cotton yarn. Excellent for crocheting or knitting pretty but really durable and scrubbable dishcloths. Great for first time projects especially for kids too!

This is a DK weight chainette cotton yarn as described. I can see the yarn being very absorbent however the label describes it as being used for bags. Given the rougher texture I believe this would in fact be best for market bags, maybe head bands or other accessories not touching skin, rather than basically any other project. This is not a bad yarn but lacks versatility in its use. The color is rich but the chainette style does make it scratchy.

Rough and stiff yarn
This is my first negative review. I'm hoping to save others from making the same mistake I made. This yarn is very rough and stiff. It is like thin kitchen twine, only stiffer. I can't return it because I started a project with it but very quickly saw it would be awful to work with. I'm guessing I'll make a market bag out of it which I don't need but there is nothing else this would be good for.

Dollarama sells same type of cotton for $1.50 per ball of 3.5 ounces. Much too thin, not at all what I expected! ๐ญ will keep it for string!!! Would NOT BUY AGAIN
