Our old hardboard placemats had lost their lacquer finish, and even the print had faded, so I needed to replace them. Our local stores didn't have hardboard placemats, so I was so glad these were sold at Amazon. They are a nice size and thickness. They also have a cork backing. So far, these are holding up to daily use. I have found that anything spilled on them wipes right off with a damp sponge. There are so many hardboard placemats made by Pimpernel that it is hard to choose among all the pretty designs. They are a wonderful value for the money, and I am so glad to have them at our table.

These are beautiful and well made. I am happy to find them. Sorry that I had to find them here rather than in a store in my neighborhood but that's life these days. Pimpernel makes great products and I am glad they are still in business. We bought some of these 45 years ago and they were finally chipped and worn out. Super happy to find these now.

Pimpernel never disappoints. These are beautiful poppy placemats for a reasonable price. The mats are thick and will be enjoyed for a long time.

Beautiful placemats. The colors and design are exactly as appeared on the web. The four placemats are identical and have no flaws. Well made with a sturdy layer of lamination. Waterproof and heat resistant on laminate surface. Very easy to clean.

Pimpernel is the way to go if you want cork backed placemats. They last for years and protect the table beautifully! My parents had cheaper ones and they didn’t last but a few months. My husband and I have been married 35 years this week. This is only the third set we’ve purchased. We were delighted to see that the new ones are even thicker than the old ones! Don’t waste your money on cheaper brands! Stick with the best, Pimpernel!

Bon, ce n’est pas du tout celui que j’avais commandé mais il est très joli donc je vais le garder. La qualité est très bonne : un set de table épais (5mm), rigide avec un dos en liège.

El diseño es genial, el material resistente, duran mucho, valen la pena!

🥰Llevo un año y medio con estos lindos manteles individuales y son excelentes, los uso en el desayuno comida y cena. Son fáciles de limpiar y de almacenar. Ya es hora de comprar otros y dejar descansar estás lindas amapolas. 🤗♥️

Good quality, came quickly. Expensive but hard to find solid cork backed placemats. Watercolour of succulents is quite beautiful.
