Getting rid of used cooking oil has always been such a faff, and this makes it completely hassle-free. Just add the powder to your hot oil and it solidifies as it cools — once it's cool it's solid and you can just chuck it in the bin. Brilliant. The only slightly tricky bit is estimating how much powder to use if you're not sure how much oil you have, but guestimating works fine and I just add a little extra to be safe. If it comes out mushy and hasn't fully solidified, you've not added enough — just gently reheat the oil, add a bit more powder and let it cool again. Simple fix.
