Valley Enterprises 2' Coiled Audio Input Cable, Compatible with Peltor FL6N, 3.5mm Gold Stereo Plug

I am using this on Peltor Comtac III Model MT17H682FB-09CY. I have the cord hooked to my iPhone XS Max with the Apple lightning to 3.5 adapter. I am not running any comms or mic on this hearing protection. If you are running a different model or—-more importantly, if you are running comms through the headset as well, you may have a different result. There seems to be a lot of people who are hearing music only in mono or through their mic and I think it’s because this may not play well with that but I haven’t tried.For me, this cord worked perfectly. You can hear music in stereo with the headset turned on or off. If you turn the headset on the music works seamlessly with the talk-through functionality. The music volume is controlled by my phone and the ambient noise volume is controlled by the headset.This cord worked exactly as I had hoped at a fraction of the cost of the original Peltor cord.I was wondering about all of this before I ordered and I figured others may be as well. This cord is a bit short if you want to connect your phone to your peltors but an extension is an easy fix... I also just don't like that Peltor designed their earpro with a proprietary connector rather than a mini-headphone jack making it necessary to spend $30USD on a stupid headphone wire that should cost no more than $5. Overall, the product gets the job done but is wildly overpriced considering a different input jack could have easily been used to make the wire for the peltors easily attainable and cheaper. This cord should be included with the original product but the is an issue for peltor not whom ever manufacturer this cord.

Looks like pretty good quality but did not function at all with my peltor iii. 88078-00000. I also tried plugging in without mic plugged in but zero sound with or with out the comtacs powered up.

Purchased to use 3.5mm audio sources with 3M ComTac III, works as intended.The headset obviously isn't of great audio quality nor does input get very loud, but it works fine for the application of streamed audio/music.

I own a pair of aviation peltors comtac and there’s an extra 2 prong plug so I figured I could listen to my music but they didint work and it started playing the music thrue my microphone so there a no go for me. Besides that the wire quality is good feels sturdy

Works acceptably, I use these while mowing grass for 3.5 hours on 2 acres and listen to podcasts, as well as target shooting.
