Truly the best protein shake I've had!
It is incredibly challenging to find a protein shake that is good but this IS the ONE! I have tried all 3 flavors (Chocolate, Salted Caramel, & Vanilla) and they are all good, but chocolate is by far the best! I stumbled upon this when I was travelling for work and needed a quick way to get protein in. I found it at one of the airport snack shops in the refrigerated section. I bought them on Amazon as soon as I came back from my trip and got my fiancé hooked on them, too. I saw it had 42g worth and did not have high expectations, but I was floored by how good it tasted. It took me back to childhood with that classic chocolate milk taste and smooth texture. The consistency is not thick like most protein shakes which is a plus for me because I can drink it faster. I appreciated that it was lactose free as my digestive system is sensitive to it (I've had 0 issues with the milk in this which really wowed me. Some lactose free items still affect me negatively), low sugar and low carb. The price point (it fluctuates but seems to stay between $40-$45 for 12 15oz cans) seems to be on par with other shakes that have less protein content. The vanilla and salted caramel flavors are good with the salted caramel tasting very close to the vanilla with a salt finish that is nice. My only complaint is with the salted caramel. Every can my fiancé and I have consumed had a white chunk that we assume is the flavor mix that didn't fully dissolve during production. It is a bit off-putting, and we might wait awhile to buy that flavor again.

Tastes great, ideal macros for overnight
I really like this protein drink. It tastes great, kind of like lightly flavored chocolate milk. So it goes down pretty easy and isnt thick or chalky. I use it at night for a slow casein drip overnight. 42 grams of protein is perfect and its got really nothing extra in it in terms of macros so 190 total calories is terrific. I've tried chocolate peanut butter and salted caramel and they're serviceable but for me the straight up chocolate is where it's at.

Slate tastes great; pricey, but at least don't get bad for you stuff! in it
SLATE Milk, with 42 grams of protein, is SO convenient and it tastes good too! Their Latte's are also good, with 20 grams of protein and 2 cups of coffee worth of caffeine to help get you going. Both the vanilla and sweet cream are my favorites of the coffees, and both the chocolate like the mocha too (better than most chocolate flavored protein things) EVERYONE likes the chocolate and the vanilla flavored Protein shakes, and it's not just convenient but essential for sime in my family to get their minimum protein intake. I just wish it wasn't so expensive, but they do use real MONK FRUIT to sweeten it, which isn't cheap. They do also use stevia, but it's not bad; I think the monk fruit helps, so they don't have to use as much stevia, which can have a less pleasant taste. For the price, I's think they could use ALL MONK FRUIT though, wouldn't that be nice? Would make it worth the price! A couple of cans were dented in my last shipment, but the product was okay.

Tastes good!
Tastes good and helps me meet my protein requirements while dieting. Has the least calories of any other shake with this much protein.

I love the taste
42 grams of protein! I bought one can at a store and fell in love. It tastes great. Doesn’t taste chalky or thick. Tastes like a treat. You won’t regret it.

Warning: Explosive Contents Within..
Wow quick rant about absolutely abysmal packaging for an otherwise solid product- the nature of the modern stand alone protein shake is such that it more often than not requires a bit of shaking to prevent the actual protein blend from settling at the bottom of the drink. The Slate Ultra Protein Shake is no different, and I even read as much being a potential drawback in a few reviews before I decided to give this brand a try. "Make sure to give it a good shake, as one downside of this drink is that contents can def settle at the bottom if you don't" they said.. Not being one to not get the best bang for my buck, I surely adhered to the advice, as I likely would have anyway, given that most protein shakes found in bottles often require a little bit of shaking to maximize product optimization. Enter the Slate Ultra Protein- for 3 days in a row now that I've reached for a Slate as a midday snack, I have been BLASTED in the chest with projectile chocolate milk upon opening their super awesome cans. I mean, look I get it, it's tough times for planet earth and I want to help protect our environment as much as the next person, BUT, who in god's name here among us has the time or patience to be obliterated by a firehose of chocolate milk every time they want a quick midday protein boost?!? Not I!! So guys, please for the love of Christ, can we reconsider the explosive landmine-can approach to packaging this drink? The beverage itself is tasty and satisfying, no complaints at all. And with the same amount of protein as it's much pricier competitor Fairlife at that. But I gotta say, having to spend an extra 5-15 minutes daily cleaning up another chocolate milk massacre for the ages is soon becoming not worth the savings from buying a competing brand that uses normal, sane, non-dynamite-infused bottles as their packaging. Thank you so much!
