Didn't need to use enclosed drive cd as it did everything automatically. It set itself up as wifi2 and all I had to do was disable wifi1 (my laptops built in wifi) and connect to wifi2. It blinks red when active and not blue which puzzled me a little as it works perfectly but as some reviewers have referred to an antenna which this model doesn't have I can only think this is an updated model. With some other wifi adapters flashing red relates to the download speed being below 48mbps so perhaps that is it. Running updates is now superfast whereas before it took forever and the Windows 10 anniversary update was a doddle. Really recommend.
