I have used this bag now several times hiking and now camping. No issues what so ever. It sat out in a rain storm that lasted hours hanging on the lantern pole at the campsite, everything inside was high and dry! As an experiment (I DON'T RECOMMEND DOING THIS FOR SAFETY REASONS!!) I left the bag hanging in the campsite to see if the bears could smell the open packages of food for 2 days, no bears came. Even though there were several sightings of black bears each night at multiple campsites, none came to visit mine.I will definitely be purchasing additional smaller and larger bags for hiking and dry clothing.

Does exactly what it should do. Very sturdy. I've used it a number of times without issue. I did however find much larger dry bags for cheaper but I have not used those yet so I cannot say whether this one is better or worse, I just know it's higher priced. Still a good buy if you want a guaranteed item that works. The other dry bags I purchased were just way too discounted not to try so I took the chance. This dry bag on the other hand will absolutely work for you!

I tested the bag by sinking it into the lake for awhile with a tshirt inside. First - the bag naturally floats - nice. Tshirt stayed totally dry. So I am happy. However, it should be noted that the external zipper pocket does get full of water. They tell you this in the instructions - so there is truth there. But I wonder why they included the pocket?

I needed a bag to go whitewater rafting and this bag fit the bills! Kept my gears completely dry and it is lightweight!

Nice material. Keeps my stuff dry. Good price.

Worked great. Only used it a little for rafting.
