I do wear a wide size, but the shoes came apart on the same foot, in the same place, both times. Don't get me wrong- for the $45 price tag, I feel like I definitely got my money out of the shoes. I wear them every day at work and often will just throw them on for doing inside and outside chores or running to the store because they're so easy to slip into. Definitely worth the money. At the same time, considering the treads on the sole are still in nearly perfect condition after all that abuse and still have probably years of wear left, and the rest of the shoe is still in good shape, I feel like it's a bit of a shame I've had the same problem with both pairs.
