Northwest Naturals Raw Rewards freeze-dried single ingredient Beef Liver treats for dogs and cats in a large value bag. The convenient pieces break easily to allow for quick feeding while training. The soft texture also lets you crumble them over your pets' food for not only a nutritional boost but a highly palatable addition.

Review: Allowed us to do away with prescription drugs, all natural, and our pug loves them. - We were buying a prescription chewable medication for our pug that was about $45/month and only worked for two weeks out of the month. We had been given some samples at our local pet store of different treats including several different Raw Rewards. Leo took a real liking to the beef liver and we began to notice a change in his coat. Much softer, and within a few weeks the itching/scratching had stopped. There is a lot of nutrients and vitamins in liver and we now use them as treats. I cut them up into 1/4" size which averages about two full size bites a day. Couldn't be happier, and their made about ten miles from my home in Portland Oregon. I've also begun to mix in some beef heart which has a lot of fat with the muscle. He doesn't like the beef heart as much but both help fight dry skin and are 100% all natural, freeze dried organ meats. These are made as a side product at a slaughter house in North Portland. Basically they are a zero waste slaughter house and I like that. They also offer a wide range of frozen pet foods.

**Q: Are the omega 3 fatty acids ion the beef liver still intact after the freeze drying process?**
A: Well, I'm a PhD scientist, and I can tell you that you'd have to do column chromatography on the product to be able to answer that question. Likely the only source that could answer your question would be the manufacturer.

**Q: what are the size of minnows?  I do not want the giant ones.**
A: There’s no minnows in this food, that I have ever seen, as it’s little just small chunks of fish. My 4 year old female black Lab loves them in White fish only, but if you get it with Salmon added, my girl seems to have a minor allergic reaction in the form of crusty breakouts on her tummy. I used to get strictly the White fish as a “topper” for her evening meal, but you’ll have to experiment to see how your pet reacts to the food in general. Too much each day might be a bit too rich for your pet, so start slowly. Good luck with it!!!

**Q: Item damaged and why can't return**
A: I would try to contact the seller anyway. They can't use a damaged or opened item for health and/or COVID safety reasons, I think. But they may issue you a refund and tell you to throw it away. They might ask for a photo of the damage (like a torn or smashed bag?). It's worth contacting them, even if it says non returnable.

**Q: where are the green lipped muscles sourced from?**
A: The packages from this company say that they are made in Oregon, so likely sources from the Pacific Ocean? It doesn't say specifically, but that's my extrapolation. :) Hope this helps.

Recommended by dog's trainer. Rather large pieces for a 4 month puppy, so I cut them into manageable sizes (more cost effective too). Puppy loves them. Firm treats. Great reward for stay, come, sit, down. Gotta admit hold your nose if you don't like the aroma from liver! The things we do for our dogs.
