Are these long or short day variety? It matters because you need short day for where I live.

If you need short day,then avoid these at all costs. First,it took a long time to arrive(in excess of one month). Second,for the costs the ad read 40 bulbs,yes we did receive 40 bulbs. Except,over half of them were so TINY,they didn't do anything. The price was very expensive. Lastly,we wrote the sellers,they never responded. They are only after your money. Keep it in your pocket. These came in a shipment with other items and they were not labeled, nor were there any instructions or anything. What do we do with them?

Plant them about 1 inch deep, root end down, 4-5 inches between plants, rows 12-18 inches apart

I don't believe they will survive a year. Most likely they will dry up and die. I used all of mine by putting them in between trees, bushes and flowers. Then I just pulled them up as I needed them until the end of the season when I pulled all the remaining plants and dehydrated them for later use.
