Pet Honesty Dog Probiotics Chews for Gut & Digestive Health, 90ct, Duck

My shelter Puggle, Jazzmynn, was around 6 when we adopted her. She's 10 now. For the past 2 years, her lab results intermittently showed a protein leakage, which would only be found by expensive MRIs. Very cost-prohibitive to detect the area of the leak, especially for a dog of her age. The vet thought it was "leaky gut". She put her on steroids and antibiotics. It got better but would reoccur. It would come and go but she had explosive diarrhea and vomiting. I was cleaning ungodly messes almost every day, sometimes several times a day, even after she'd gone outside to potty. She and I were both miserable. We had to confine her to the laundry room with the tiled floor so it'd be easier to clean and in just one area instead of the entire house! Not a good thing for her mentally, I'm sure but what else could I do? She was gorging on food, acting like she was starving, no matter how much food she'd eaten already. She'd bloat really badly then be so scary-skinny. It was so bad. It scared me. I didn't know what to do for her. She smelled horrible, shed uncontrollably, her breath could make a train jump the tracks. She was normally very good with kids and our other dogs but started getting nippy so now she HAD to be confined! She was out of control because she was miserable and in pain, I'm sure. After the first day on the probiotics, we saw a change. She immediately started having normal bowel movements for the first time in over a year!! It only got better from there. After the third day, she was running up and down the stairs again without hesitation. She loves the "treats" and has not had a single bout of diarrhea or vomiting since the first day on your probiotics. Her energy is back and she happily plays with our other dogs instead of ignoring or attacking them. She doesn't stink and her breath is soo much better! She's actually a happy girl for the first time in years! She has her annual check-up next week and I cannot WAIT to see what the lab results show and what her Doctor says about her miraculous turn-around! I don't know how we didn't know about this Miracle Treat before! A co-worker recommended his probiotic because his dog had similar problems so I did some research on it and found this one to be much better just by the description and reviews. I didn't realize that you are based in my hometown of Austin, TX until after I ordered but that's another huge PLUS! <3 Thank you for giving me my Puggle back! She's got that face that only a mother could love. Honestly? I'd been trying to find a new home for her because I just couldn't deal with her constant messes while trying to raise my grandson, clean up after him and her 24/7, ( I was always scared that she'd bite him!), deal with the other dogs and my 89 year-old father-in-law and his messes. I was ready to just throw in the towel on her but just couldn't do it. I resigned myself to just being Cady the Cleaning Lady forEVER! I'm so glad I found your probiotics and will be trying some of your other treats for my babies. Thank you so much for giving me my dog back and giving me less mess!

Dog loves these. They also are working for her. She doesn't scratch as much as she did before starting her on this. She also hasn't been eating grass then throwing it up. She's on her 2nd tub.

My dog ate them from my hand like treats and it helped her digestion. However, they gave her a rash and are making her scratch and bite her paws more.

I never write reviews, but this product is worthy of one. I have a Frenchy and she has had allergies for a while. She’s 10 years old. I used to get cytopoint shots for her, but I worry about long term effects. For the past 2 years, I’ve given her OTC allergy meds, every 8 hours, when she’s having a bad go of it. I decided to give this product a try. I received it on August 3rd and started her on them immediately. Today is the 22nd. For the past few days she hasn’t been scratching or chewing her paws!!! I’m so happy for her! I hope it continues to work! I stopped the allergy meds 2 days ago. I’ll definitely be ordering more of this!

My dog loves these! He won’t eat his food without it. I’ve noticed it has made a big change with his sensitive stomach. He is going to the bathroom more often and they are much healthier stools than before. Definitely recommend if your dog is sensitive or gets upset stomachs often!

Anyone who suffers with an itchy, paw licking, hot spot suffering canine- read on. I have a dog who is seemingly allergic to air. His paws get so bad they bleed when he walks!! And at one point he scratched himself raw on his neck. So, this is a severe case. We have tried everything under the sun. Everything. So, I’d consider myself an expert at this point. Here is my honest review of the Douxo line: Shampoo: this is the best product in the line. I use once a week. Honestly, it works for about 2-3 days, then needs another go. That’s expensive for the small bottle and my big dog. It does remove corn chip odor. I try and leave it on 4-5 minutes in shower, but that can be tough with my dog who doesn't love showers. The smell is nice. It removed dandruff and cleared up his neck. I have considered soaking paws in this nightly, but not sure how that would go. Foam: in between washes we use the foam. This does seem to work- though it is messy to apply. I use mostly on legs, paws, and neck. It does keep down corn chip odor and seems to help redness. It is not a miracle cure. And, it's expensive for the extensive use. It helps, but does not cure/end the paw licking. Wipes: I use this extensively on paws each night. It is more cost affordable than the foam, but not as effective. Still it keeps his paws from bleeding. Does not handle the corn chip smell or stop bleeding- is more of a spot clean up. Now, anyone who deals with this knows this is just the outside. My guy is also on the K-9 probiotics. These seem to give him more energy, regular firm stools, and help his repetitive behavior. He does not mind taste at all. We have added Dogs are Human vitamins. All of this makes it bearable - it has not solved the problem. We are adding collagen next and I will update post if it helps significantly. The BIG PLUS of all of this is he is not on Aquapel, and we do not give him antihistamine daily anymore- which I feel good about. My dog is also OCD and the regimine here seems to have really helped with that. He does not chase lights nearly as much as he used to 8 out of 10 improvement. For all of this, I gave 4 stars because it is the best regimen of everything we have tried (which is everything) and has given him about a 6 out of 10 relief. Hope this helps! Best of luck to you!

I have a little Russell Terrier (11 months old) that has had loose runny stools since I got her at 4 months. She had a bout with giardia (unbenounced to me, she had it continually as a puppy before I got her; all the pups did), and just never got right again. The vet prescribed the antibiotics and pro/prebiotics, but I couldn't get them IN to her. She's a picky little eater (not normally a JRT trait, I know, she's weird), and I just couldn't. I can't remember how I came across these; maybe looking for something treat-based that she would eat? Oh and no poultry; the vet put her on a no poultry diet in case that was an allergy. So, here we are, pumpkin based. And she EATS them! At first she kinda mouthed them, and spit them out, then eventually ate them. I broke them in half and did half in the morning and half in the evening for a week. Now she begs for them in the morning. I still break it in half cuz she's only 10 pounds. But she'll actually eat them with no drama. It has taken almost a full month, but for the first time in the 7 months I've been blessed with the little menace, I'm seeing consistent solid stools. I took to "rating" them from 1 (a puddle), to 5 (YAY Cat-type Poops again!). We went from 2's and occasional 1's, to 3's (mushy and hard to pick up, but at least forming. We call it "stacking" in the horse world) with an occasional 4 (forming actual turds, albeit maybe a little slimy) To this week, 3 weeks after starting, I'm getting consistent 5's with a few 4's out there! (and an occasional 3). WOO HOO! Now it's not just about pick up here, I figure if she's passing puddles and gooey slimers, then her little tummy isn't feeling well (I know this by personal experience. Sorry, TMI?), and that breaks my heart. I think she's eating better, and any Mom of anything loves that. I say if you're having gooey-poo issues with your pup, give this a try. Give it a month, though. Stay the course. I'd be interested to hear if it helped your picky little weirdo like it helped mine!

Dogs like the taste and it is soft which is easier on older dogs. Seems to help but I don’t know effective it is yet.

My picky chihuahua enjoys these supplements! It does help with his digestion and I’m very happy about this. I just wish they made it easier to the Canadian consumers to purchase these.

It helped my sensitive tummy Golden retriever's digestion, and his diarrhea issues have settled in a week. I will keep repurchasing it as it is helpful.

Love it. Kept the chihuahua from shaking his ears and making them flap and itching with his back foot all the time, shoving his paw in his ears. Very excellent ingredients. Better than anywhere else. My cat likes it too. Also, I cut out potatoes, rice, cheese, milk from the dog and he stopped itching completely now whether or not he eats this, but if you insist on feed dogs these products this will help. It stopped the ear shaking and the flapping sound and the constant scratching. GREAT product for the health of your dog. Good for their stomachs with all the probiotics and has all the enzymes they need plus fat, protein, etc. Worth every cent compared to all that garbage other people sell. AND they love the taste. Dogs itch from allergies to grains mostly. I cut out all the starchy carbs and just give him homemade meat and vegetables and butter with a touch of sea salt, and he doesn't itch anymore. But before I figured that out. this worked to my great relief. And I still feed him one every day. VERY good product.

My dog wouldn't eat it. Also my dog is 6 pounds so had to chop it up. They are big dog supplements. Not happy. Also, I was way within the time limit to return and they would not provide a refund email slip. If they would issue a refund I would definitely change my review.
