This little monitor is the coolest thing ever. I would 100% recommend it; there is nothing else like it on the market. It is super easy to set up and works immediately out of the box.

A must have for those who love using their phone for film-making. Sometime you can’t see the screen of your phone due to the angle it’s tilted at, but this will definitely help. There’s a tiny bit of lag, but that can be managed. Easy to set up. Good quality screen.

Terrible! So frustrating! The video lag is so bad, at least a minute, so it’s pretty useless. The mount also doesn’t stay level so I will have to edit all shots to make them level in post, adding more time and hassle. Also, you have to connect to the devices ‘WiFi’ during mirroring, meaning you have to disconnect from your home WiFi and render your phone almost useless when you aren’t in a city. To be honest, I’d like my £70 back SMALLRIG!

Very very useful and amazing..just a magnet is very strong and because of that sometimes its very hard to take out from the tripod ..also the tripod quality is very cheap but yes i m just looking monitor ..worth it to buy this

This is a useful addition if, like me, you are on your own or like to shoot videos from awkward positions where it’s not easy to see the phone screen. This at least gives you an idea of where to frame the shot. I say “an idea” because, unfortunately, the screen is not the same aspect ratio as the phone and therefore cuts off a significant portion either side of the image - you only see the central part. Thus if you are trying to position something on the far left or right of the frame you won’t see it. I’ve had it a few days and I’m still debating whether it’s good enough to keep.

Great piece of kit as a decent price, it essentially mirrors the middle of the iPhone screen- which is where the video appears in the camera app. You connect to the monitor's wifi and Airplay to it. Note that there is another variation of this kit which includes a tilting hotshoe mount in place of the selfie stick/ holder at a similar price, so be sure to choose the variation you prefer.

Not the best, it’s very laggy and uses a direct WiFi connection so your phone can’t connect to other WiFi while connected. The brightness buttons actually flip the screen upside down on a long press as well as controlling the brightness which isn’t mentioned in the manual. It’s good for framing when using the rear camera but the lag and the unpredictability of the buttons make it more frustrating than useful.

Funciona bien, pero al menos en mi caso con unos DJI Mic Mini y un iPhone 17 Pro Max, al grabar con ellos mientras duplico pantalla en esta pantalla, genera delay constantemente y esto es algo que no se puede corregir en edición, pues genera desfasamientos a lo largo de toda la grabación, lo que hace imposible sincronizar el audio y video en post producción. Si no grabas audio con tu teléfono y solo lo usas como referencia para hacer tomas, todo bien, pero para grabar vlogs o videos con el mismo teléfono, no vas a tener una buena experiencia. Toca devolverlo.

Eine große Hilfe bei iPhone-Produktionen, wo man auch selbst einen Aufsager machen muss. Endlich kann man die hochwertige Kamera nutzen, und sich trotzdem selbst in eine optimale Kadrierung begeben. Schade nur, dass der Monitor nicht alle Foto Apps unterstützt, sondern offenbar nur die nativen. Hätte es gerne auch bei BlackMagic genutzt. Zusätzlich guter kleiner Monitor, um entfernt vom Smartphone die Bildeinstellung zu kontrollieren.

On peut enfin utiliser l'appareil photo de haute qualité tout en se lançant soi-même dans un cadrage optimal. Dommage que l'écran ne supporte pas toutes les apps photo, mais apparemment seulement les applications natives. En outre, bon petit moniteur pour contrôler le réglage de l'image à distance du smartphone. 4⭐
