1923: A YELLOWSTONE ORIGIN STORY - SEASON TWO - Jacob Dutton (Harrison Ford) and his Irish émigré wife Cara (Helen Mirren) sojourned to Montana to take over his younger brother's spread and the raising of his sons. The early 20th century would find them in constant contention with neighboring ranchers, the indigenous peoples, and trying economic headwinds. "Yellowstone" prequel series also stars Brandon Sklenar, Darren Mann, Jerome Flynn, Brian Geraghty, Julia Schlaepfer, Aminah Nieves, and Timothy Dalton. 7 episodes on 3 discs. RUNTIME: 7 hrs. Review: Yellowstone strikes again! - I suppose the only thing that's important is that this does entertain, all seven episodes do. I found Julia Schlaepfer's accent a bit cardboard (as if she was trying to imitate Queen Liz 2) but aside from that this sped along bravely and it is well done. Mirren and Ford coast along as all of this was well within their scope. Brandon Sklenar makes for a good hero while not stretching himself in the acting stakes. The real winner is the story, three or four threads that flow along well and wet the palette for more which will come as this is labelled season two and there are unanswered questions. Special features and English subtitles. Is it just the makeup but Mirren and Ford DO look OLD. But so do I ! Review: Great story - Love the series.

Yellowstone strikes again!
I suppose the only thing that's important is that this does entertain, all seven episodes do. Great story

Both Season 1 and Season 2 were great.
The stories are captivating and very Interesting. I have both Season 1 and Season 2 and the Second Season backs up and expounds upon the First season. I only wished there was more information on what happened when the nephew returned to the Ranch. Something that would tie it in with the original Yellowstone Videos

2nd Offering in the Yellowstone saga
Season Two - Part of the second chapter of the Yellowstone story (after 1883 & before Yellowstone 1-5). As with the first season, it quickly envelopes you within the character/plot line and moves into early Montana years. Superb acting and story line makes it one to remember. Mirren and Ford play perfectly together to represent the earliest settlers in the Montana region, building the basis for the ranch that becomes Yellowstone. Greatly enjoyed; will watch it again down the road when the memory fades a little.

Just Wonderful
I've come to love everything Yellowstone. This Prequel is excellent, acting, story, everything.

One Star short of greatness
There's a lot about this series to love. If not for the gratuitous inclusion of the sadistic sexual deviance, I would gladly given this one a 5-Star rating. IMHO, that did nothing to move the story line forward. All and all, a very good story that was neatly wrapped up in the ending.

A very good Season Two.
I enjoy good movies and this is a very good Season Two movie. This movie with great acting by Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford in the lead roles has good drama and action in the proper places to make a very watchable movie.
