Increase fan speed and noise
Edit*** I finally got an original filter and the projector does not overheat anymore so this filter is not good. Foam density is not right and prevent adequate air flow. Do not buy! I can’t be sure since I don’t have another epson oem filter to test but since I started using this aftermarket filter, my projector is running a lot louder. My hypothesis is that the foam used in this filter is not the same material, not the same density and airflow, this causing my projector to get warmer and increasing fan speed. I’ll have to find an oem filter to test my theory. Would I recommend it? Not sure, try to find an oem if you can.

Very happy will buy again
I bought this for my projector Epson WXGA it was a perfect fit. I would highly recommend placing it more often I bought this projector used and the filter was just covered. I tried to clean it in the cover was like not even there it just like crumbled in my hand but the new one fit perfectly and the quality seems really good and the install was super super easy. Very happy. And for the price, it is super cheap so I will definitely buy this again when I need it.
