HYTED 1600W 220V to 110V Converter, No Load-Type Restrictions - Plug & Play

We used this for a week in Croatia. It worked great! We bought it specifically for my wife’s Dyson hairdryer. It worked the whole week without any issues. The hair dryer worked perfectly. The unit never got hot and we had no issues. My wife also used a hair straightener with no issues as well. I was concerned it might not work in doing research. Everything I read was that a Dyson is to sensitive and you would need a huge more powerful converter. Not true. This worked flawlessly and had the power we needed for the Dyson hairdryer. It has a small fan to keep it cool but it was not loud at all. It was also nice how small it was for what it does. I don’t think something this powerful could get any smaller. We could easily pack it in our carry on bag. Stop researching and buy this. I spent hours researching with multiple AIs. This works and that is all you need to know. It was worth the money for my wife to have her Dyson with her curly hair.

Bought for our trip to Amsterdam, Belgium, Paris and London so we could travel with our Shark hair dryer. My daughter uses it to style long blowout curls, I use the diffuser for my curly/wavy hair. Converter was used in each country without any issues, worked like a dream. Yes, its a little heavy, but you're not buying it for its lightness. You're buying it because it does the one thing none of the other converters promise to do. No problems with compatibility, it was easy to use, very durable, and I liked having a couple of plugs to work with on top for my other needs. I travel with a charging block so overnight I plugged all my portable devices into my charging block, the block into the converter and everything was ready in the morning. I never write reviews but knew if this converter let us use our blow dryer in Europe, I was going to come sing its praises to let others know. 10/10, would buy again. Photo is from our hotel in Belgium, the only European hotel with a power plug in the bathroom.

Works perfectly in both Asia and Europe. Very easy to use - I needed a solution for my wife’s Dyson hair wrap and other accessories. It can be a little bulky for travel but well worth it for long trips overseas.

Works well, the fan is a bit noisy. The fan have 2 speeds, when in use, it speens fast and noisy but that's totally fine, when not in use it speens slowly but still makes some noise

I partly live in Europe and bring many appliances from America, this converter is not complicated to use like some others. Simple and convenient to use and it’s versatile works for so many high voltage small or medium size electronic appliances. I got this on a deal, normally it’s a bit pricey but worth it. It’s not heavy so easy to bring with you when you travel and have weight limits and works really silent the noise level is super low. I’m using this product on my robot vacuum and mop, I had so much hesitation about it but works great so far.

Absolutely worth the money! I used this recently with my Dyson Supersonic in the following countries: France, Spain, Andorra and Italy. The instructions are very helpful and it comes with multiple adapters. While it’s a little heavy for carry on luggage at 1.6 pounds, it’s worth bringing it if you don’t want to leave your Dyson at home. It’s also lighter than other adapters. I ended up using it for my laptop and iPad too because it has built in protection. You can hear the fan for a few seconds after you turn off the hair dryer so you know it’s working. I did get it on sale, but even at full price it’s worth it. Highly recommend!

Purchased this for my wife for a work trip to the UK recently. Specifically so she could bring her Dyson Airwrap. While the item ultimately worked as she needed it. Laptop, Curling Iron and the Dyson Airwrap. There seemed to be a delay when she would turn on the Dyson. No green light blinking faults. She would turn Dyson on and nothing would happen. So immediately turn it off. Wait a few seconds and turn back on and it would work. This seemed the happen a couple times so rather than use it, fix hair a little, turn off and on a few times during the process she just left it on while laying it on bathroom counter. Reached out to YANG @ Hyted Customer Support and was VERY helpful in helping me and immediately sent out another unit. Wants the original unit back to them and not Amazon so the engineers can check it out to see what caused the issue. We will be going to Australia in a few weeks so we will get to try the new unit all over again. We’ve never used a Step Down Voltage Converter before so wasn’t sure if there was a slight delay when using devices like the Dyson. Which was the driving force to purchase this in the first place. My bride loves her Dyson. Ultimately it worked but according to YANG @ HYTED Customer Support, not like it should’ve so today I’ll have a new one delivered. Would definitely recommend. Worry free customer support thanks to YANG. Will update after our trip to Australia and I get to see first hand how it performs.

I made the mistake of asking a family member to buy me a hair dryer from america as it’s been on my wishlist for a while and the colour I love was limited addition and not available in the uk. Didn’t factor in that the voltage would be different. I was a bit worried and skeptical as usually voltage converters don’t have high wattage but it really does work! My hairdryer has not experienced any faults which was my main worry. I’m yet to take it abroad with me into the eu but i’m sure that it’ll work just as fine as it does now. It does have a little bit of weight to it but really nothing crazy. Definitely worth the money especially as I couldn’t return the hair dryer.
