The Freedom Bible: Contemporary English Version, Global Edition

Great for study and youth work. The highlighted parts are sometimes helpful and sometimes distracting but on the whole a good addition to the bookshelf and a good follow on from the Poverty and Justice Bible - Great for use on the Freedom in Christ courses.

The bible came within the stated time,however to my surprise it was slightly more used than what the description gave.Over all, a good purchase,easy to read and understand specially for new Christians who may find the King James version difficult to understand. I would recommend this bible to any one wanting to purchase a easy read bible, but perhaps not a second hand one.I have only had mine for a few weeks now and so far enjoying the read.

One of the best translations of the Bible....heavier than I thought for a paperback but full of information.

I like all versions of the bible as it reveals a God who loves and cares! God sent His Son to this earth to show us what God is like!

The freedom bible is easy to understand.

This version is really easy to read. It is a while since I purchased it and have read it through a couple of times now and I am amazed at the new insights I am discovering. Definitely recommend it.

First and foremost this is the Contemporary English Version of the Bible. This is not a bible I have used much but I find it useful to support my reading of the NIV. What makes it different is all the verses about freedom are highlighted within its pages. If this is a theme you are interested in thenn it is worth getting this bible. One thing I did think was strange as the section all about this bible is in the middle rather than at the front. Why would anyone look for it there. Apart from this it is an excellent and easy to read version of the bible which I would recommend
