I immediately loved this shampoo’s scent and texture and the way it felt it my hair. I assumed it would take quite a while before I noticed any decrease in shedding, or increase in growth. But on just my second or third wash, when I went to brush my hair out before getting in the shower, very little hair ended up in my brush. Then, in the shower, when I ran my fingers through my hair as I applied conditioner, only a few strands came out. Then when I combed my hair, with my wet hair, wide tooth comb, after the shower, again very few strands. This is so unusual for me! At least, since I’ve been in perimenopause. So few hairs fell out that I was dumbfounded, but thrilled! I have several other shampoos in the shower, but this is definitely going to be my go to from now on! If it could have that much of an effect in such a short period of time, imagine what it could do in the long run!

WARNING WARNING PET OWNERS PLEASE READ! Sadly, I am leaving this review because there is no disclaimer. The shampoo advertises itself as all natural...or at least healthy. What it doesn't say is that it has a great big WARNING label on it that states it has pyrrolidinyl diaminopyrimidine oxide it. Yes...that Warning label stuck out and when I did the research, I found that this is a new and although slightly different form of minoxidil which is absolutely the worst for cats especially and causes death, even if there is lingering residue. After years of issues with dying cats, the news is finally out there that they cannot be exposed to minoxidil...on your pillow...on your hair...on your friend's hair...on your hands. It is tough to get the effects of these drugs on your hair well enough to do some good, but not have exposure to pets. Cats' metabolisms cannot handle minoxidil...and the chemical structure in this shampoo is very similar. Although there's no immediate data as to how many cats have died due to this shampoo, pyrrolidinyl diaminopyrimidine is listed as questionable and similar and therefore online advice from numerous places is not to use it if you are around cats, especially. I am a cancer survivor, a professional writer, and will be returning this. I bought the shampoo because it says on the front in large letters, "Biotin and Rosemary"...all good there as ingredients. What I did not see until I went to open the box is that the big Warning label on the back! My opinion: AVOID THIS SHAMPOO!

This shampoo dried out my hair. Regarding hair growth - I did not see much hair growth.

I’ve been using this shampoo since June of 2025. Not sure if I can say that this shampoo caused all of my new hair growth or if it was also attributed to leaving a stressful job.. perhaps both?! I’ve never experienced this much hair growth, it’s to an extent where I’ve had to buy another product to tame down the new hairs! The shampoo lathers well and smells good. In the winter months it does make my scalp itchy/dry due to the lack of humidity in the air but it’s bearable, I’m sure the itching helps stimulate the scalp.. Overall, will continue to use!
