I absolutely loved the results. We were definitely surprised as everyone was thinking boy. I would have left 4 1/2 stars but since you can’t do that I put five because of how much fun it was. Only because when I popped the balloon the rubber came back and bit me in the arm and left a pretty good mark for about 4 hours. It stung pretty good too. Other than that it was absolutely perfect. So much so I didn’t have it in me to take off a whole start. We were thinking about doing the fire extinguishers but they were so expensive. This was way more affordable and all the kids loved the confetti.

This product ended up being so much better than I hoped. For one, the balloon can get HUGE. There are a lot of pictures on here of really sad looking balloons, but that is because they weren’t inflated nearly enough. I took the balloon into the floral department at a grocery store to get it filled with helium, and the first guy blew it up only half way (it didn’t even float) I eventually got someone else to blow it up correctly and you have to keep adding helium until the entire ballon is round and that little “nipple” is gone from the top. It also isn’t filled enough if it doesn’t float (the confetti makes it heavier). It comes with blue/gold and pink/gold confetti and there is alot of it, so when it pops, it is pretty dramatic. The packaging was great, and everything was very high quality. It comes with two balloons (I’m assuming as backup) but since we only used one, we blew up the second balloon (with regular air) for my two year old and it has lasted three weeks with him kicking and rolling it around our house, so I am incredibly impressed with the balloon’s durability. If you’re considering different gender reveal options, this is such a cute/good one!

Got this for my sister’s gender reveal and loved it! It comes with two big balloons (which is nice in case one is defective), gold ribbon, and pink and blue heart-shaped confetti; so cute!! I agree with other reviews about the “film” on the balloons, it was greasy and smelled like car oil or something strange like that. I did not fill the balloon with helium, just blew into it…gave my lungs a work out! I will say that once it was blown up it was pretty hard to tie it closed into a knot. It took two of us and still couldn’t do it, I had to use a rubber band and that worked. Also, the balloon was not see through even after blowing up pretty big, we could not see the confetti inside as some reviewers experienced. I used a wide-mouth funnel to fill the balloon with the confetti, that made it easy! Would purchase this again!

There are others out there, but this one blew my mind! Target, Party City and other Amazon shops sell these types of balloons for a lot less. I will tell you that I don't regret the amount of money I paid for these. It came with 2 balloons. I was expecting one. I was also expecting a little larger than a latex balloon. My brother took these to Party City. He handed them to the cashier with our envelope the doctor gave us. It was around 17.00 to put helium inside of both balloons. My mouth dropped when he walked through the door. My toddler and I popped the balloon while my husband held it. It was amazing!! The confetti was large and in the shape of hearts. There were also gold hearts mixed in. It made a gorgeous video in slow motion. I couldn't be happier! The balloons we're black enough that you're not able to see what's inside. It's the video we're posting to share with everyone. Don't waste your time trying to save a couple dollars.

Love this balloon make sure if you do helium you filllll it up ours didn’t float it was to heavy I was just afraid of it popping so we did not make it to the three foot mark. The outside of this balloon is thick too we had a hard time popping it good in a way though stayed strong and didn’t ruin our family pictures we took with it!! Recommend it to all just blow that thing up maybe add more confetti too!!

Tip to fill the balloon: Use a toilet paper roll as a makeshift funnel to add the confetti to the balloon. I bent the bottom a bit to fit (as pictured) and used an XL Jumbo marker to push the confetti down. Tip to close the balloon: I used a rubber band to tie it shut and covered the rubber band with ribbon! Adding the confetti, blowing up the balloon, and closing it up/tying ribbon to it took less than 30 minutes! It stays opaque even fully blown up. Would highly recommend.

Great gender reveal balloon! The size is perfect. Tou can’t see through it. I used all of the confetti that came with it and it was more than enough, very visible in the photos/videos of what color it was. The balloon WILL NOT FLOAT by itself with all that confetti in there. I did fill it up with helium (which btw is expensive, $22!!) but it didn’t float. I didn’t care but just FYI it won’t stand up right on its own. They just held it up. It was so perfect. Everyone loved it! It’s nice that it comes with two balloons in case you overfill and pop, but boy if it pops by accident good luck picking up all that confetti! Lol

Highly recommend this product! I painstakingly read through reviews for about six other types of gender reveal cannons to pair with this balloon- and could not have been happier with this choice. There was so much confetti ! We all loved it! We knew that the balloon was going to be large, but it was massive and was better than we expected. 2 gender reveal cannons with the balloon created a breathtaking experience. I also left a review for the 4 pack pink/blue gender reveal cannons.

Just received the package today. The shipping was very fast. It came with two balloons, some reviews said it only came with one so I was a little nervous that there wouldn't be a backup balloon, but it does come with 2 for anyone wondering. The confetti looks really cute, and is heart-shaped. I will be adding some of my own to both colors, as some of the reviews say the color is too light to catch on photo or on video. The balloons look to be very good quality, and they don't look like they will be see through at all. I will update again after we have used them!
