McFarlane Toys DC Theatrical 12in - Superman (Superman Movie)

A great looking statue of Superman! The sculpt is very detailed and looks great, could use a little more detail in the paint, but that seems to be the McFarlane staple. One thing I just find odd is the cape, this is a non-posable statue, yet it comes with a cloth cape with wires in, however the posable McFarlane Superman figure has a non-posable sculpted cape. I just feel like that should surely be the other way around. Overall though I great statue to sit on my shelf next to the movie, even the base looks really nice.

I definitely had to purchase "this statue" considering Superman (Kal El, A.K.A.: Clark Kent) is my NUMBER ONE FAVORITE SUPERHERO [although not the (late) Christopher Reeve version that I grew up with as a boy going on to my early teens (I'm 53, B.T.W.)], none-the-less..... ABSOLUTELY had to have it. -Colt

I’m too obsessed with this version of Superman. Needed to get my hands on this! So cute & well made. I struggled a lot trying to get him out of the box though. He was really trapped in there lol.

At first when I bought the statue I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it but when I received it I truly like how accurate it looks to the Superman in the movie. I love the flexibility of the cape and the size of the statue is perfect to fit in any shelf or case you may have. It would be perfect if the face had more detail or shade to it but that would mean the price would be more so I’m okay with how it is. I would say the detail on the suit is ideal. Not bad priced either. I also like the stand it came with, great idea using his ice home. The stand is really light. Overall I really recommend this statue to someone that likes to collect superhero statues but doesn’t want to break the bank in doing so.

ok this figure looks awesome! it’s a lot bigger than I anticipated which is a good thing. and for it to be only 20$ right now this thing is a freaking steal.

Great sculpt on a reasonably priced large sculpture from McFarlane DC Universe. Looks like Superman from the recent movie. Glad I waited until it was marked down a bit. I took off one star because as usual, there are noticeable paint flaws that seem to plague McFarlane figures and sculpts. There were flaws on the left leg and belt loop. I attached pictures for reference.

Todd McFarlane you have done it again. Bringing us the magic of the Superman movie to display on our shelves at home. The Man of Steel stands on top of a Fortress of Solitude like base giving you the option of adding your own lighting underneath it and really making it a stand out in your collection. Superman has a definite likeness to his Human counterpart and his cape is fully posable giving you a few options like the direction of the wind or Superman standing in front of an explosion of force from the Kaiju in front of him while not being phased. Great value for the money and a definite pick up.
