Sounds good with USB DAC
I use this with an Audioengine D3 portable DAC for Android. It sounds as good as I think the D3 can sound. I know it could be worse too because I also have a USB-C HDMI adapter that has a USB-A port as well as a USB-C power passthrough. Sometimes I get "clicking" when I play audio through that device. I also feel like there is more noise too. Anyway that product is still useful because you can power your device while playing music but this iFi cable is much preferred quality wise. No sound issues, no loose connections, the cable feels durable while being light weight (still I would not recommend putting much more stress on it than a device like a USB DAC) and it looks great. Outstanding fit and finish. It is also very sleek. One reviewer mentored that the USB-A side is very small and was too short for his application. Well that is a valid criticism but with my Audioengine D3 the amount of exposed USB shielding ( I guess that's what you would call it) is minimal and doesn't bother me at all. Also keep in mind these cables are probably designed for used with iFi's products and those appear to have a recessed male USB-A port. Which I don't see often. So if that bothers you, you might want to get the AudioQuest Dragon Tail even though it's pricier, or the Amazon Basics. Again, for me, it is no issue unless there is something wrong with a slight exposure that I am unaware of. See photo. I recommend this product. No idea what is going on with the bootleg products being talked about. Mine looks like the real deal.

Great usb-c to female USB-A adapter for iFi hipdac!
Works well with 2019 iPad Pro 12.9. Qobuz, Amazon Music, and Apple Music 24/192 all sound exceptional when paired with the iFi HipDac. Tidal passes MQA through correctly and sounds great as well. Sturdy, well built, fits the HipDac just right. Highly recommended!

Well made and attractive cable
This cable is great. I bought the anker version first and this one is superior. The connection is more solid and the braid is high quality. I wish they made a longer version as using my phone while listening to music can be awkward. Worth the extra cash to upgrade over cheaper OTG cables.

Worth the upgrade!
I recently purchased the Ifi Hipdac and the OTG cable it came with is pretty much crap. It was too stiff and would randomly disconnect from my phone which is absolutely annoying. So I got this and so far so good. Build quality is excellent, the usb c end connects securely and the random disconnecting problem is solved. I wish Ifi would have provided a better cable for something that cost over 100 bucks but at 15 bucks this little guy is definitely worth it. My only complaint is that I wish it was a bit longer.

A nice replacement
A slightly ‘nicer’ update to the Apple plasticized usb camera cable. A much slimmer female USB hub, and the gold fabric cable is a nice touch. Works well to connect my iFi Diablo to my Hiby DAP.

iMac usb C to iFi ZEN DAC
This instantly cleaned up sound clarity and volume from anker hub I was initially using from my iMac to ZEN DAC V2, perfect. Highly recommend!

Great cable
Imo it's better than a generic cable. Feels premium, looks premium and pairs with the ifi hip dac 2.

Stiff, puts strain on connectors; intermittent connection with iFi DAC; NOT good for portable use
Love iFi products and generally like and appreciate the fact that they chose to use the female USB-A connector for the data connection, as it SHOULD be more reliable than other USB options. However, iFi has not designed or provided a connector that sits completely flush and tight to minimize movement. This particular cable is very stiff - no more flexible than the cheap plastic cable iFi included with my Hip DAC - and being short, it places a lot of strain on both sides when used with, say, a phone on the go - the most common scenario for everyone I'm sure. The DAC side connector also allows for quite a bit of movement, and a while ago started breaking the connection intermittently. Of course, it's outside of the return window, so it is now a $20 piece of trash. Don't buy this one, there ae better options - Cable Creations for one. Get longer one, it'll be more flexible, and their connectors are tighter and move less.

I'm no expert on the construction of data cables or on materials science. As a total laymen in my uninformed opinion this cable gives an impression of good quality construction. It performs it's job perfectly well and I like it's color.

Bought this being somewhat sceptical about USB leads making any difference whatsoever to sound quality. I'd been sceptical for many years after daisy chaining several HDMI leads together when I was landed with an emergency demonstration at the shop I used to work at. This lashup was connected from an AV amp to a projector and saw and heard no difference in comparison to an expensive HDMI cable regularly used Well I wasn't expecting miracles over the the supplied USB Cable from my iFi Micro DSD Black Label DAC/Headphone amp . HOW WRONG I WAS ! The actual lead is very short and is really designed to fit from the phone to a DAC. And in my case it is meant to help facilitate providing a very short connection to allow the handset to be fitted directly onto the back of my DAC and held on by elastic bands, which kind of works. It was presented well packed, feels like decent quality and fits perfectly between my Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus 5G and my ifi Micro DSD Black Label DAC/Headphone amp. But the most unexpected benefit was the jump in the sound quality. There was an overall improvement in clarity for starters. The bass became tighter and more focused, the treble was more detailed and the overall effect was somewhat like having a veil lifted from a window. A lot of people keep on about it being ones and zeros and I was inclined to believe them. My ears are definitely telling me otherwise. Thoroughly recommend.

I always find it very disappointing when I receive a small package in a huge package. I always try to carefully choose a beautiful and responsibly produced product. The producers of these types of products often have nice words about the environment and the responsible use of materials. They also place high demands on their suppliers. So does IFI. On their website they write: "The long-term success of our business depends critically on the efficient management of safety, health, environment, quality, energy, carbon reduction, and responsible sourcing. In order to inform and encourage wider adoption of ethical behaviors , we have a single sustainability policy that is periodically reviewed and disseminated to workers, contractors, visitors, key stakeholders, and our supplier chain." how disappointing it is then to receive a surplus of paper and even plastic as a package. And yes: the packaging of the product itself is minimalist and consists entirely of cardboard. However, in this way more material is used for the shipment than for the purchased product. Too bad and certainly not sustainable, and certainly not according to IFI's own standards for responsible resourcing and carbon emissions. The word Greenwashing comes to mind.
