Amazing Board
It took me a while to save up for this board and all the fixings. I've never had a board with flex like this. The board is really light. I'm 225lbs and I got a flex 1. If you get this board do yourself a favor and get the best parts like some paris trucks, orangatang wheels, the jehu loaded bearings and some nipples or knuckles. Bottom line, couldn't be happier, you get what you pay for.

I am really impressed
This board is great. I got one of the original dervishes when it came out and have always ridden that board because it was completely broken in and what i was so used to. The tan tien kind of sparked my interest when it came out but mainly cause of the design on the bottom was really cool, but it was a little too short and the lips were too big for my taste. This is right in the middle and I have to say that the Loaded really did their homework here because the contours of the board on your feet allow you to carve so much sharper than I could ever with the dervish. A very smooth ride and the dampening seems to really help out as I don't feel the road on me feet as much.I have been riding for the past 15 years here and there when I get some free time, don't really bomb hills, more into dancing, small commutes, carving, cruising.Setup on dervish and icarusFlex 2Paris 180 (RED)Khiro bushing Barrel and Cone 90a Red (Black on Icarus)3DM Avila Wheels 75mm 77A White and BlueBones REDZ bearings

Killer deck
I did a lot of research before getting this board... and I wasn't disappointed. Nice and flexy, good quality, cork bottom and graphic are cool. I've had the board for a little over a year and probably put at least 500 miles on it.Couple of notes that might help people considering this deck: - Drop through deck, although Loaded ships Paris trucks, they don't tell you that you need a spacer to prevent the raised lettering on the truck from damaging the deck (see picture). I found this out the hard way since I built my board myself from parts. Make sure you pick up the spacers, Loaded sells them. I think they come on complete boards by default. - Bottom is cork. Although this is a cool look and feel, and supposedly helps absorb vibration, it is less durable than wood or bamboo since it's very soft. No grinding or other shenanigans on this deck or you'll rip up the bottom quick. I also noticed that it's wearing quickly on the tails from just kicking it up to my hand.

Perfect blend of pop and carve.
I absolutely love this thing. I own a lot of skateboards and the Icarus flex 1 is amazing im a 200lb 6ft + man so I went with the stiffest board. Iāve rode a flex 2 and that too is just loads of fun. Honestly youād have to be well over 200lbs to go beyond to limits of the flex 2 or for that matter the flex 1. If you know how to pump a longboard this is Definitely the medium sized deck you should Consider. Worth every dime I spent.

Near perfect
Really 4.8 stars. I came from a Loaded Pintail with lots of bounce which was great for pumping. I love the look of the drop through and length of this board much better, but it lacks a little of the spirit the Pintail has. I am on the Flex 1 but probably could have gone with a 2. (200 lbs at 5ā11ā). My 100 lb Labrador loves towing me around town on it. I went with the recommended setup and roll Bones ceramics.

Fiberglass is ugly
I can see why itās mainly covered in grip tape. Any exposed bamboo on the top is pretty much covered by poorly layered fiberglass. Thereās bubbles and white hue all over and itās splotchy and uneven. Iāve seen beautifully layered fiberglass where the wood looks exposed and laquered but this is just a hazy white mess. Doesnāt keep me from giving it 5 stars on performance and feel though! Itās curvaceous and nimble.

Five Stars
Lots of fun, but flex 1 is much stiffer than I thought it would be.

Perfect š
I love my Icarus. I keep it on display when I'm not using it. It's the perfect carving longboard in my opinion. And the Cork bottom with that design is just stunning. Even people who don't know a thing about boards will comment on it.

Simply Brilliant
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Ā Amazing Flex1 firm enough for downhill speed but lots of pop for carving . The best deck ever. Not too long either

Well designed, flexible, georgous and fun.
The board is mint and really is way cooler in hands than on photos or video. The screen printed and textured cork is jaw dropping. Got flex 2 for my 190lb and is still a bit stiff. Don't be affraid of the excess of flex. Caliber II trucks fit perfectly and no wheel bite with Kegel and 80a Orangatang nips. No trouble, just fun so far.š¤
