I can instantly breathe better with these and they’ve pretty much eliminated my snoring. My wife thanks you!

I was a BreatheRight user for several years. These magnetic strips work much better than BreatheRight. The BreatheRight strips were too small (I had to use 2 at a time, with extra tape) and the adhesive failed after about 6-8 hours. The adhesive on the MAGNETIC strip system is MUCH better than BreatheRight. The adhesive for the magnetic system LASTED 12 HOURS, and I was even able to RE-USE the strips by sticking them onto a plastic DVD case after the first 12 hour use. After you remove them from your nose, the adhesive sticks to the tape, and not your nose (the BreatheRight strips, left my nose "sticky" so the adhesive was coming off the tape). **VERY IMPORTANT FOR STICKING** --> You must THOROUGHLY clean the oil off of your nose so the strips will stick. Wipe the nose firmly with a NON-LOTION (DRY !) kleenex or even just toilet paper. The paper must be DRY. YOU MUST DRY OFF THE OIL THOROUGHLY, CHANGING THE PAPER A FEW TIMES. (ALSO: Using the magnetic system, I had no skin irritation after removing the tape. The BreatheRight tapes irritated the skin significantly after removal. ) I actually use TWO of the black magnetic holders at the same time by putting one low on the hose, and one higher up. For me, it completely opens up the nose with no snoring or "snorting." For the higher one, I RE-USE the adhesive "dots" from the night before. So, the RE-USED adhesive strips actually lasted at least 24 hours total. BUT YOU MUST VERY THOROUGHLY DRY UP THE OIL ON YOUR NOSE TO MAKE THE ADHESIVE WORK. Also, for me, snoring is prevented by breathing through BOTH the nose and mouth while sleeping. Adjust your head on the pillow until you get the right angle. TEST it by drawing in air suddenly (from nose and mouth) until you do not get a "snort." It works for me. No snoring through the night (8-12 hours). Without the strips, I start snoring loudly after (literally) 2 minutes. NOTE: This is a personal testamonial as to how I use the magnetic system, and not medical advice. Always consult your doctor if you snore at night and are concerned about sleep apnea.

I don’t even know where to begin on how Intake Breathing is a game changer for me. I was skeptical of trying these thinking it was an expensive scam, but after suffering for almost 30 years with difficulty breathing through my nose, trips to the ENT, finding out I have a deviated septum, mouth breathing (leading to whole host of other issues), I feel like I have a new life! I cried out of relief when I put this on and felt what it was like to breathe like a ‘normal’ person. I called family and friends & asked them if this is what they feel on a daily basis lol. I cried a bit more, went to smell things around my house, RAN for the first time in years breathing through my nose instead of my mouth, and had a great sleep that night. I have sensitive skin and did not have any irritation from the magnet strips or plastic bridge either, which is a huge bonus. I do have an irrational fear that it is going to stretch my nose out, my it almost seems worth it lollll

I received the Intake Breathing Magnetic Nasal Strips Starter Kit about 10 days ago and have been using them most days since. Bottom line, when you get them just right. . .they work really well to open up the nasal passage. I seem to be able to sleep for longer periods of time at night when wearing them. I don't know if they have affected my snoring but they definitely help me breathe through my nose. The reason for only 4 stars, is that getting them on in the correct place and keeping them on is a SIGNIFICANT challenge for me. Just getting the non-adhesive backing off each adhesive magnet seems way more difficult than it should be. There is no pull tab or area to "peel here" that is designed to avoid potential skin contact with the adhesive. Contact with skin on the adhesive prior to putting them on the nose can cause them to fold over on themselves or reduce their potential "stickiness". When they say to thoroughly wash the area where the adhesive magnets are to go with soap and water, they aren't exaggerating. If I don't, the adhesive seems to fail shortly after application. If I scrunch up my nose while wearing the nasal strip, that sometimes loosens the adhesive. The adhesive often comes off while I sleep. BUT, I want to stress, when I get the placement right (or at least close) and the adhesive holds. . .they work AMAZINGLY for me. I'm hoping it will just take more practice to figure out what soap/alcohol wipes work best to prepare the nose for adhesion, be able to effectively remove them from the adhesive backing without compromising the adhesive, identify exactly where they should be placed, and consistently place them in the correct location for my nose. It's helpful that the starter kit comes with four different sized bands. I'm still trying to figure out which one(s) work best for me. In my case, I don't think my nose/inner nostrils are symmetrical which leads me to place the magnets in slightly different places for each nostril for full effect. . .but that can make it difficult for the band/adhesive to hold. It kind of seems like I can usually get much better intake in one nostril but not so much both at the same time. The plastic bands work okay with my glasses. Sometimes the glasses rub against the band and it's a minor annoyance (not sure if that loosens the adhesive). There's also the price for refill adhesive magnets. They're not cheap. I've also had to throw some away shortly after initial application as I placed them in the wrong location or the adhesive didn't stick. That's a waste, as it throwing them out after one use (even if successful).
