Blending
Blends very well and really soothes my skin

A little bit goes a long way.
Only need to use a little. It spreads evenly and doesn't feel oily. The slight tint blends into skin and mutes shiny spots.

Good mineral SPF 50, but leaves some white cast
I’ve been using this Avène Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 face lotion and overall it’s a solid mineral option for daily use. It feels gentle on my skin and didn’t cause irritation or breakouts. The formula is a bit thick (as many mineral sunscreens are), but it spreads evenly if you apply it in small amounts and work it in. Protection feels reliable, and it sits okay under a moisturizer. The main downside for me is the noticeable white cast, especially if you apply the recommended amount or reapply during the day. It can also feel slightly heavy compared to chemical sunscreens. If you want a fragrance-free, mineral SPF from a trusted brand, this is a good pick—just be aware of the white cast and thicker texture.

Great product no toxic ingredients
Excellent product with quality ingredients. It blends nicely and doesn’t leave a white film. It’s pricey but worth it for a quality product for everyday use.

Healthy, Easy Application, Moisturizing.
I do not like sunscreen!! But it’s a must have in sunny AZ. This is creamy and spreadable. It feels moisturizing and is not sticky. It is also Yuka approved, which is why I tried it. It is orange in color. But doesn’t change your skin tone. If it’s not dry, it will rub off on light colored clothes. Let it dry before putting on that white top! (The orange does wash out of clothing)

Definitely not nude tinted, it’s full blown yellow.
Feels nice, no weird smell, but I plan on reaching out to Avene customer service directly to check on the “nude tint” of this item. I normally LOVE Avene items, I have bought some of their European formulations while traveling and have never encountered a product of theirs advertised as nude/tinted that was this shade. It looks almost like mustard on my hand, it is straight up yellow/orange. In what world is this nude? Almost curious to find out I was sent a counterfeit item. The packaging does state it is “natural tint” to counteract white cast so maybe I’m just ignorant to the actual function of this shade of tint. Will try to update review later on after I hear back from Avene, but for now do not go by the computer generated swatch of the nude tint used in the product listing pictures. It’s Kraft Mac and Cheese yellow, not “nude”.
