My Cats devour this food
I have two cats and they LOVE this food! It’s primarily cut up chunks of trout that you can clearly see are real ingredients Here are the first six ingredients 1. Trout 2. Fish broth 3. Vegetable broth 4. Ocean fish 5. Dried egg whites I typically rotate cat food, which I’m sure some have mixed opinions on. However I wouldn’t want to eat the same thing forever and I’m sure my cats don’t want to either. With that being said, since I found this food it has been a staple in my rotation of food for the kitties, they get a can of Canyon River Taste of the Wild at least once a day (I feed three cans a day to each of my cats). I think that for the quality of food, the price is well worth it.

Formula changed! Cats now refuse to eat it.
Two months ago I would have given this cat food five stars and beyond. I have four cats, and this was their absolute favorite food. The original formula was a sort of shredded meat in gravy, and they all went crazy for it. Unfortunately, my most recent order came with a new, cheaper looking label that read "New Great Taste." This new formula must have a VERY different taste to it because all four of my guys are refusing to touch it. I thought I could use it up on a feral cat that I've been feeding, but even she took a few bites and walked away from it. I ended up donating the remainder to my local shelter. This is no longer a premium cat food and definitely not worth the high price. Diamond Pet Foods took an outstanding product and ruined it. What a shame.

Cats live this food
My cats love this food and it's sometimes difficult to find where I live, so I ordered online. The case of food arrived in a box slightly larger than the case, with no padding in the box other than a few sheets of crumpled paper. The box was damaged in transit, and a few of the cans were popped open by the time they arrived to me, and I threw them out. I won't be ordering online again due to the poor packaging.
