God bless the sweet rabbits who I'm sure would rather have been family pets than ended up in a can. That said, the cats love this. And it's so healthy for them, a food they would naturally eat. Highly recommend.

My cats love this food. The quality is excellent and they lost weight and one of my cats stopped overgrooming after being on this food for a few months and her fur is growing back!

I switched from the shredded chicken and liver, because it was now more liquid than chicken. I then bought the chicken and liver pate and it was WERY pasty but OK, until my kitties were no longer enthusiastic when I served it to them. Thinking I'd really change things up, I got them the Beef & Liver pate. I opened up the can and wondered what the white streaks on top of the beef were, Fat? Spoilage? I swiped it with my finger and it was greasy like fat. I put the can under the nose of Miss Fussy, she sniffed , then licked, thus, not spoiled. So, I turned two cans over in the kitty's bowls and waited for "the plop", it never happened. To get this food out of the can, I had to stab the bottoms with an awl, in a few spots. Finally, with a little banging, this plastic-like lump released itself from the can! Neither cat would go beyond lightly licking the top of this mass. Next, I mashed it up. Nope, still too sticky to lick. Plan B was to add some warmed chicken broth. Both ate it, my girl with way more gusto than my boy who ate because he was very hungry, as always. Today, with awl and broth, I served this meal, again. My girl ate it, but kept giving me the "side eye". My boy retreated into the dog's crate. As I type, he remains in his self-imposed prison. When he emerges, hopefully soon, I will give him something he loves, a can of low sodium canned sardines, in water. The sardines cost 1/2 the price of the Rawz plastic. I believe that this company has moved far away from its original intention of supplying superior food to pets. It used to be made in the USA, those days are long gone, UNLESS Thailand has relocated. Until kitty comes out of jail, I will be searching online for a new brand of cat food. Happy New Year...2026, is not having the start for which I had hoped...Oh well, new year, new food!

I want to start off by saying that we’ve been using this food for a while now and never had an issue like this before. It’s the only food I can find that helps with my cats IBD as its only ingredient is rabbit, that she also really enjoys. However, I caution others to please look at the food when opening it, before giving it to their babies. I made the mistake of opening a can in the dark and giving it to my girl and not looking. When I looked in the morning, I realized there was a pile of larvae in the food that she had eaten around. I am sick from this and I feel awful I gave it to my kitty. Amazon issued a refund and I just reached out to the company to let them know as well. We will still be feeding this food, because it really works for us, but we will be much more cautious in the future in case something like this happens again. We just wanted to warn others to keep a close eye on the food just in case. The can was not damaged so I’m really not sure how this happened.
